This place was exactly what we needed! Time away from the world where you can just breath and enjoy life. The tent was beautiful, the views were beautiful, the people were so kind and the food was to die for! Highly recommend! We plan to make it a yearly getaway.

I highly recommend a visit to Paint Bank Virginia and a stay in many of the neat cabins. The Caboose is a must-see and stay. It was so relaxing and great service.

A buddy of mine and I rented the Airstream. What a phenomenal experience. The lady who checked us in was so nice and helpful. The property is secluded and beautiful and peaceful. The Airstream was well equipped and comfortable. The outdoor shower was awesome! Great getaway!!

Celebrated my birthday at depot lodge. The customer service is great. They had chocolates and wine in the room for celebrations.Rooms: Unique stays for anyone looking to get away from motels!!

We stayed 3 nights. The building and grounds are immaculate, serene (on a rushing mountain creek), and the entire complex (including Lemon Hotel, General Store, gardens) are beautiful. Every staff member is welcoming and provides great service. Coffee, soft drinks, ice, water, muffins, cereal, milk, fridge, dishes, microwave were readily available in the lobby. Only complaint is sleep on the 3rd night, before checking out the next morning, was interrupted by loud guests, making the lack of insulation between wood walls very evident.

I visited Paint Bank years ago and wanted to come back on my way to DC. My wife and I stayed in the Caboose at the Depot Lodge and it was perfect in every way! We were even met with wine and moon pies! It was quiet and we slept like babies in the comfy bed.

The Airstream experience wasn't what I'd hoped. The awning was broken as were some of the curtains inside. When I walked in, the smell of the bathroom along with the mustiness was strong enough for me to buy a candle to burn. There was 1 bath sized towel in the closet for 2 people staying. The windows and screens were dirty and there were lots of flying critters inside at bedtime. The ladies working the desk were very nice and the breakfast brought the next morning was a treat, I wouldn't stay in the Airstream again. It has potential, it just needs some upkeep. I've stayed in one of their tents before and loved it, but this experience didn't come close to the expectations or pictures presented.

What an amazing place and is run very well! Will definitely come back with a group next time! The caboose is a great sleeping experience as well!
