Recess was pretty dank. The added a new jungle gym when I was in 3rd grade that was mindblowing. Art class was good. Frequent ice cream socials. SAC was a lot of fun even though some of the employees suck. Once I made a submarine out of paper and Ms. Vickey made me throw it away because "it's a waste of paper". Seriously like throwing it away is a better use....Overall great school. Mr. Azimi was cool and I always liked his BMW

The teachers, staff, and facility are fantastic! They have an amazing PTA that sponsors a surprisingly large about of before and after school activities. So many opportunities for the kids to learn and grow.

This is a fantastic elementary school. My kids have thrived here, and I cannot say enough about the faculty and administration. In particular, Mrs Hanley, our first grade teacher, was an angel. She was loving, yet tough and encouraging- a perfect blend for learning. I would also commend the school's amazing PTA. They have numerous events through the year to bring the kids together and support the school's mission of learning. And finally, the after-school SACC program is OUTSTANDING at Waples Mills ES. My daughter loves SACC and begs to stay each day when I pick her up. Each child has the chance to: excercise, play sports, perform science experiements, arts and crafts, sewing- and importantly, learn to interact with all students: K to 6th grade.
