The pharmacy staff and pharmacists work very hard to help you get the medication you need. They text you when your prescription is ready and they are very kind and treat their customers with a lot of respect.

Absolutely unacceptable the pharmacist working January 21, 2023 in the afternoon refused to provide information on my prescription. She said they didn't have it and when I asked when they would get it, she was so rude and said they won't be getting it. Hung up on me multiple times. Finally I said I don't know why you're being so rude to me. I just want to know when you will get the medicine in stock. So she hung up on me again. I was nothing but kind to this individual. This was not some special or unique medicine. Most pharmacies have it or order it for me the next day. I asked her if she could transfer my prescription and she said no... like what????My doctor called personally after my experience. I went to his office immediately after the pharmacist refused to give me answers. I was in his office and he put it on speaker phone. This rude lady answered and he said I'm calling about my patients medicine. Without anything further she said my name and date of birth (isn't this a hipaa violation?) and he never even mentioned me yet.She gave him the same answer. When he said you can't just say that to a patient, when will the prescription be there, she got angry again. He asked her for her managers name and she said she was the pharmacy manager. He asked her for her name and she said Lilly. I doubt that. Then she hung up on him. He called again and asked her for the regional manager and she just wouldn't answer. he asked her to give an actual day when the medication will be there and she put him on hold and never came back.This is truly shameful and disgusting for patients who need medicine. Giant - you should be ashamed of this behavior and take action against this pharmacist. What an utter disgrace.

This place is a mess, after spending 10 minutes spelling my name over and over and over again, slowly.. phonetics.. everything. They put me on hold to "help a different customer" without saying anything just to have some other random person pick up and ask what I needed. Restarting the whole process again. Then the guy came back and said "oh, the perscriptions at Giant".. we said yes.. we are on the phone with Giant correct? and he said yes. ????? The whole conversation was almost comical. Ultimately we discovered they had "lost" the prescription and I need to contact my physician for another.Don't trust this place with your time, let alone your prescription.

We use this pharmacy several times a months and they are always very helpful, polite and professional. We have 5 family members and a canine on multiple medications. Highly recommend this pharmacy!

Giant Oakton pharmacy is a complete mess! Despite submitting all information while getting my appointment online, they took 45 minutes post my appointment time to give me a vaccine shot. When I approached them for clarification as to what the purpose getting an appointment and doing all the paper work online was. They kept prevaricating and apologizing. Giant Pharmacy, why don't you realize the significance of time instead of beating about the bush?

Closed the pharmacy early today and didn't notify anyone scheduled for COVID vaccines. Terrible service, and unapologetic. Highly frustrating.

I go out of my way all the all from Arlington to come to this pharmacy because of the wonderful stuff. I'm really surprised by the negative reviews. One of the pharmacy techs, Ying is the best! I'm picky about different generic manufacturers and they always make special orders for me.

I have been a Giant Pharmacy customer for over 30 years. Tiffani was the absolute best. When the fairfax giant closed, our information was transferred to the Oakton Giant pharmacy. There has been nothing but problems. We plan to change to Costco or Wegmanns.
