“My husband and I met at Unity of Fairfax and raised our kids here. We both grew up in traditional churches, but as adults we grew away from those traditional Christian faiths. We both studied Eastern religions as adults, and were drawn to Unity because it's focus is more on one's own spiritual development than adhering to dogma. There are some basic Unity principles that we follow, such as "We create our reality through the thoughts we hold in consciousness." The way we interpret the Bible is a metaphysical one, rather than literal. We draw lessons from other texts as well. The focus is on studying and practicing universal truths and principles, which are often similar across many religions. Unity practices inclusion, as well, welcoming all people. We enjoy spending time with the open-minded people we meet here.”

“Decent sized Catholic store. The workers there are always very helpful. It's always nice to go to a Catholic store that isn't run down and is well maintained. Highly recommend if you need any Catholic item needs.”

“Cute, bright, and clean book store! Loved the employee suggestions and reviews. They also had quite a few signed copies which I thought was cool. The location was a little weird to find, but it’s a cute neighborhood book store.”

“This scout shop is decent, however, the staff is not always responsive and sometimes lacks the knowledge on the most up-to-date information when it comes to changes to requirement and rules.”

“The owner is so so sweet and listens to what your looking for before suggesting something. Rhe prices of books are super reasonable and the selection is diverse. He also has learning posters which is super rare. I 100% will be back soon. Ive never been so happy to spend money in my life.”

“There are several bookstores closer to me (independent and B&N), but I drive the extra distance to this one because of their excellent selection, especially of works by women in translation and sci-fi/fantasy. They also have a great children's section, and the staff is always helpful with suggestions. Definitely my favorite shop in Nova!”

“Great little bookstore just off a busy road.Wonderful selection of books - and their website can inform in advance if what you are looking for is in stock or needs to be ordered. The young man who helped me out was extremely courteous and offered to wrap one of the books (at no cost) when I mentioned it was a gift. They also sell a few wines at decent prices.”

“Amazing bookstore. Came in looking for a leather bound ESV Bible and they had just that. The customer service was great and the woman behind the desk was engaged and cared about spreading joy and Christian love.”

“I published my first illustrated book, For the Love of Laxmi with Mascot Books, on February 1, 2022. We started working together on the book in June 2021 - I had already worked with an illustrator to get the designs done on my own, so I didn't end up using their design services, so I cannot entirely comment on that. I worked with Mascot on their publishing, distribution, and marketing options, and I admire them and their work. This was my first book ever, so I had a lot of anxiety about timing, quality, and ensuring we would have a good go-to-market strategy. I initially micromanaged with a million questions, which their team handled so gracefully. I do wish their team provided frequent communications and more face to face/zoom time to help reassure, but outside of that, they were always on top of things behind the scene - the book quality was stunning, the distribution was outstanding, and truly resulted in a great first release. I can't wait to work with them on the other project.”

“Barnes & Noble at Tyson’s Corner Center is located at the South End of the mall on first and second floor. Indoor escalators included. Arts, magazines, gifts, games, media and cashier downstairs, novels, children, youth and cafe upstairs. I go here often just to watch what’s new but I do find something anyway. My favorite B&N is still the one on NYC’s Union Square, but that is anyway hard to beat.”

“10/14/23While shopping at Fair Oaks Mall,One of the first things I saw was a soft furry fox that had me at hello. These stuffed animals were on sale for $21.99. If I bought one, you get the next one at half price. I ended up buying a Tanjaro: Drangon Slayer Plush Doll for a friend of the family. I just looked at my receipt and my fox (Who's name is Celeste Colgate Fox) is labeled as a Red Panda). Okay, my black and red fox is a panda. Cool beans.Either way, Colgate is happier being in our home, than by herself. I carried Colgate around the store while my wife was shopping. When she and her friend were ready to leave, it was clear I was going to by Colgate.Guess my wife turned me on to stuffies. I now own three. Two from Build A Bear and one from Go Calender. Speaking of which, we do need a new calendar, but it will have to be one we both like. I did not care for the NFL calendars I saw. The ones I saw were not my team.I am glad we stopped by this store. We will have to do it again.”

“This Barnes and Noble is alright. Sorta has the feel of a small bookstore and is fun to browse and hang out in. Much more tastefully organized than the Tysons Corner location which just feels like a giant toy store”

“I was pretty angry when I walked into the store. Kayla, the new store manager turned that around and is literally the epitome of what ANY establishment should look for in management. There was an issue with a pre-order that she went out of her way to make right and I truly appreciate it! The store was organized and well stocked. The other staff was very friendly.”

“Love my bookstores. Still getting used to layout and how they organize the books. Frustrating when you go for your faves and have to ask where they are. Good selections though”

“The staff at the GMU bookstore were very friendly. The young lady who went out of her way to assist us in our search for our son's books was more informative than the young man at the registrars office earlier that day. She even helped our son's roommate as soon as she was done helping our son. Very dedicated to serving the students. The two cashiers worked diligently to keep the line moving on move-in day. I felt bad for them. Sadly, it didn't seem as though managent planned very well for staffing and quite a few books were out of stock 2 days before the fall semester was scheduled to start. The staff were definitely the highlight of our visit and made our experience every bit of the 4 stars.”

“Thank goodness one thrift store still specializes in media. Great selection of books, movies, and games, with really helpful staff! Only complaint is that things aren't exactly in alphabetical order, but you'll want to browse all the aisles anyways.”

“After ordering a book through alibris that was supposed to come from Extremely Reliable book store, which they are NOT I received a copy from Nataraj Books. Thank you Nataraj Books, you saved the day. I surely appreciate it.”

“This is a really nice store. You better get there quick though. Unfortunately it's only here for the holiday season. This store is located in the Springfield Town Center Mall in Springfield Virginia. This store is located in the space where Charming Charlie's use to be. It's a good sized store. It's got all kinds of merchandise that makes for great holiday gifts. It has a huge selection of stuffed animals, board games, even adult oriented board games, puzzles, Mr. Potato Heads one of my all time favorites, card games, pop culture stuff and so much more. A lot of older games I use to play as a kind. There is also a huge selection of calendars. I don't think calendars are a popular as they use to be. I haven't purchased one in years. So many places give them away. This store has a lot of nice stuff. The prices aren't bad either. If you not sure what to get people for Christmas, you might want to check out this store.”
