G2K Games is a meh place to get games, the staff are friendly and I have no issue with them and they're cool people to talk to. I've gone to g2k ever since I was a kid but now comparing them to other places, it isn't as good as I thought it was. The main problem with G2K is that most of their inventory is overpriced and prices are not updated consistently. Trade-in values aren't worth it either, I understand that you offer lower than what an item goes for because businesses have to make a profit, however, most retro shops offer 40-50% store credit (20-30% for cash) of market value and then sell it at market price, but it seems like g2k offers 25% store credit (15% for cash) and selling it more than market value; just completely not worth trading your games in at all. Another issue with G2K is there are barely any deals or discounts, which just completely blows, the only deal they do is Black Friday deals, once a year, and they used to have the Big Blue Card which offered 10% off of pre-played merchandise for those who had the cards. Overall g2k isn't an awful place to go, as long as you're not worried about getting stuff for a good price.

Atmosphere was great the guy at the counter did everything he possibly could to help me with what I was in there looking for the prices are about what they should be and I mean it was just a great experience all around. I will definitely be returning.

I ran this place most of my life! Most of the pictures of this place are even posted by me! So, I'm a little biased. Hopefully, nothing has changed too much since I left. If I wanted a game, I would go here first. The selection of retro games is unrivaled in the area. If you need a new game ordered, they should still be able to do it. They also do a lot of business in Magic The Gathering cards and Pokémon cards.

The staff is rude and slow. They wait on other people while waiting on you.

Pricing seems to be much higher than it once was and condition of the game case is not taken into account. Pricing seems to be coming from eBay without checking to see if the items are selling for the prices listed. Placing the older games on the back shelf behind a glass case makes it difficult to see what they have. I'm just going to shop online. G2K is just inconvenient and over-priced now.

If I could give them zero stars I absolutely would. I purchased a ps3 a few days ago for my 9 year old daughter and was not told this would not work on the internet without a Playstation card and we can't get it to connect to the internet and they're like it works. So basically buyer beware because we are stuck with a gaming system that doesn't work for us. She likes to play fornite and such and it's not usable for that. 100% do not recommend g2k games in Norton.
