“#NurseLuLLC I spent last year in KY in the 'bourbon trail' area. #iykyk. My husband is the connoisseur, and I feel he'd enjoy this as close to a Woodford, in quality and flavor. The tasting room is open 3 days a week, so I recommend you check first. I was there on a tasting day, and it was a beautiful location. #squatchmobile and I took the drive up, which is a large one truck type driveway, so use caution there. Patrons are courteous drivers on the property, so it isn't a huge issue. The view is spectacular! Fireplace, high top tables, and overstuffed chairs. Small shop work merchandise by the distillery and local vendors. They have their postcards, and they will let you fill out and mail them for you.The meat freezer is in the back.Everything is very clean and cozy. It's only 20 minutes out of Charlottesville, so close enough to check out if you're in the area.”

He even helped me charge my phone when I was I need. The world needs more places like this. 10 out of 10. Even said they’re opening another location too so check them out!”
“Wegmans is consistent across the board overall..... North Carolina to New York, during my travels, you will always receive staff that will go above and beyond in helping you out if needed in the store. The chef in VA Beach taught me how to make certain dressings i wanted to make from scratch.Top 4 Wegmans stores that are a must visit store, in my opinion, are :Alexandria, VA, Lanham, MD, Morrisville,NC, and Gainesville, VABest overnight staff I witnessed as far as structure and working as a team to accomplish the goal. They all help each other when done with their task: Reston,VA, Washington D.C Leesburg VA, Durham NC, Owings Mills MD , and Germantown is slowly coming along.Snobbish staff/privileged : Short pump VA, Charlottesville VA, and Fairfax VAThe most humbled/courteous/attentive staff:Alexandria VA, Raleigh NC, Woodbridge VA, Gainesville VA, Virginia Beach VA , Chapel Hill NC, Chantilly VA, Lanham MD, Washington D.C.,Fredrick MD and Hunt Valley”
“Staff super friendly welcomed us right as we walked in. Such a variety of items and a great location if you are looking for unique gifts. Peanuts, sauces, lots of different cups and mugs, and so much more.
Plenty of parking in a shared free parking lot. Store is small and full of merchandise.”
“The employees at the ABC are always nice and funny. I joke with them every time I come in. The store is well organized and well stocked. Sometimes there's some interesting characters in the Kroger parking lot but just park close to the ABC instead.”
“Such a fun store. Got the best waffle weave bath towels and a milk chocolate bar from Poland. My daughter has not been able to eat chocolate for over 2 years because of COVID. She tried this chocolate and started crying! She was so happy that chocolate actually tastes like chocolate, not burnt bitter chemicals. She took her husband back the next week and got her own chocolate.”
“David and Cardel Was amazing at their job today. They helped me find. Things that I was looking for because the store layout is much different than Holly Mead town centers.”
“I would recommend the ABC stores source a much better quality paper bag supplier..since no one in Albemarle/ Charlottesville is using plastic bags anymore the ABC store is using cheap brown paper bags instead of their thick black plastic bags. While bagging my products for me, the cashier got so frustrated because the bag just kept tearing since he was trying to put everything into one bag and it was not working .so he used two separate bags which I carried out wrapped in my arms. However, when I got home and grabbed the bag at the top to take it from the trunk of my car, it tore apart all down the side again just like it kept doing for the ABC cashier in the store and my product fell out of my car unto the ground..fortunately the bottles were surrounded by a cardboard box so nothing broke ..I recommend taking your own carrying bag with you to the ABC store to avoid this happening to you and causing breakage of your products...the ABC store is a very busy place now due to the Christmas holiday. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!”
“I love to visit the store to stock up on my favorite anchovies and other miscellaneous items. Today, I decided to try the Berkshire sandwich for the first time, and it was truly extraordinary. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had, and it seems like every visit to this place brings me new and amazing experiences. I always stand out in stores due to my appearance, and sometimes I am unfairly profiled in a negative way. However, the staff at this specialty store always treat me with respect and make me feel comfortable. I can't help but sing praises about this place - it's a definite must-visit in my book.Cheers!”
“I'll go to Dillwyn, Charlottesville and Zions before I go back to the Scottsville ABC store. The Mgr there has an attitude problem!Update 2/2/23 She's had an attitude adjustment since then, so changed ** to ****!”
“Great place to pick up prepared food and supplies for a tailgate! VERY HELPFUL and friendly STAFF! The wine tasting area/bar is a nice touch. Drafts are $2 during Happy Hour and they had a good selection. Wish we had a Harris Teeter in our town!”
“It was a clean and organized grocery store. I wish there were more sushi and sub sandwich selections. There was a good selection of meats, snacks, drinks, and dairy products.”

545 Radford Ln Bldg A, Charlottesville“My wife and I had a problem with Harris Teeter Prescription Dept. After representatives read my previous review, I received three phone calls to talk about my issues. I was extremely pleased with the professional matter the Harris Teeter representatives, allowed me to voice my concerns and then assisted me in finding a solution to my experience at Harris Teeter.”
“We whizzed by several times and decided one day to see just what’s inside Polly’s Folly. Let me tell you… the best little breakfast and lunch spot ever. We can’t get enough of the Sassy Sue sandwich. Friendly and quick service! A happy and authentic experience each time we visit. Our absolute unexpected favorite summer find! Pro tip- Call ahead to place your order or shop around while you wait. Local arts, gift items and honey. Delicious baked goods and desserts. The building looks to be an old country store painted a pretty blue gray with a front porch. If you blink you’ll miss it so be prepared to very carefully yank your car off the road and into the gravel parking lot. Thank us later. :)”
