Your expectations is a wonderful place to rent from. The owner is very respectful and she goes over and beyond to supply you with everything that you need. The instructions were easy to follow far as clean up and I was able to get my deposit back! I was happy about that. The place is very very clean and spacious. I would strongly suggest renting here and the price is sooo worth it ! I can’t see why there’s any bad reviews about this place. I will rent here again.

Your Expectations was the perfect venue for my mom’s retirement celebration. The owner was so kind and welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend renting out Your Expectations Banquet Hall for your next special event. Don’t let the other reviews deter you. We were all extremely happy and satisfied.

Rented out this hall for my baby shower, unfortunately Covid had spiked around the holidays and we decided to cancel the baby shower due to everyone testing positive for Covid. I myself ended up testing positive weekend I was suppose to have my baby shower. I spoke with the owner. Explained to her due to Covid and everyone testing positive we were cancelling our baby shower. Instead of working something out with us her response was “you can cancel if you want but you won’t be getting any money back” I tried to reason with her but she blocked me! I had to have someone else contact her for me as she blocked my husband as well. The hall itself fit our needs especially for the price but unfortunately there is no professionalism with the owner. If she doesn’t like what you have to say or any issues you have she will block you. Even if you paid for the location in full already as I did. So be careful if you decide to rent this place.

My husband and I were doing a destination wedding but still did a small ceremony here with our immediate family. We chose Your Expectations Banquet Hall. The price wasn’t bad for the space and it was an easy space to decorate. It was simple, nice and clean which was exactly what we were looking for.There isn’t a stove which didn’t bother us at all because we hired a caterer.I could definitely tell this was a new establishment because it seemed a little unorganized. When calling to follow up on my event (schedule a walk through, make my deposit, ask questions, etc.) there were multiple occasions where someone just answered the phone and didn’t state their name or the name of the business we were calling. Whoever answered seemed a little frustrated however once I gave the reason for my call the conversation was better. When meeting Mrs. Bland in person she was pleasant and answered my questions accordingly. I got a text exactly 30 days before my event asking that we pay in full which had done months before. She did apologize and we moved things along. On the day we got the building she recommended that we come through the back door to make things a little easier but they are next door to a pizza place. During my wedding the man from the pizza shop came to the event to ask that we move our cars and I’m assuming it was Ms. Bland’s husband who was on the line with the guy from the pizza shop. Whoever he was, was very rude. Every time we met him he didn’t say much and set to the side as if he did not care to be there.All in all my experience was not horrible and the building worked for my needs but I don’t think that I would rent the space again.
