“Can’t believe I didn’t find this boutique earlier!! Unfortunately I’m moving in July to NYC but every-time I visit home I WILL come in and make some bigger purchases with my big girl money. Came to do a little shopping for some fun dresses/tops for vacation to the DR! Found some great styles but what really got me was the AMAZING selection of brands, patterns, colors and the amazing prices. Great music, great decor and great vibes! I will absolutely be back!!”

“Ashbys is my favorite clothing store in Richmond. When I was at VCU I went to that store almost every week looking for new clothes. I love the consignment that they do, they're very flexible with my time and if there's no open appointments available I call the first thing in the morning to check for last minute cancellations. I always have pretty good luck with the items they take so I always use store credit. I've found some really cute and unique clothes for super cheap. Ray (not sure if that's correct spelling) always treats me so well and when I wanted to buy something I saw on their Instagram, she let me buy it over the phone and let someone else pick it up for me.”

“Stopped in this cute shop on a rainy Sunday. Was quickly greeted by a charming young lady. The shop is located in an old house that is very cool in itself, many rooms containing very nice displays. They showcase an eclectic variety of home decor, gifts, upcycled items, vintage and antique lots of their items were just my style. They had a fun selection of jewelry at good prices. fancy door knobs and hooks old and new. When I was ready to make my purchases, it was a friendly, quick and efficient check out. I am very happy with the goodies I bought. I don't live in the area but would definitely return to Hoo's Pickin anytime I'm in that neck of the woods. Very pleasant experience. “I’ve had nothing but great experiences here! I remember when I first came in here like 10 years ago I bought a cute tank top that I wore all the time. I bought my birthday dress here 2 years ago and it’s one of my favorite dresses. I got this amazing genuine lamb skin leather coat last winter that I found in their online shop and it’s seriously amazing, one of my most favorite pieces ever! I just recently bought an Ed Hardy bag that I am just in love with. I also got my boyfriend an awesome Seinfeld shirt for his birthday! I only really buy things that scream “buy me” and I love that they have an online shop so I can browse even from home. Picking up things has always been a breeze! Everyone who works here is also always so kind and sweet! I’ve also sold things to them a couple times in the past years and either got cash or store credit that I would use later at their shop for a special occasion. Thank you Rumors!”

“I went here for the first time yesterday to sell some shoes. Prior to this I’ve gone to Plato’s Closet multiple times. I must say, much MUCH better return on my items at Buffalo Exchange hands down. In addition, the service was absolutely amazing… everyone was so nice. Mind you, they were not able to accept all my items, but the reason I was given made complete sense and I was assured that they actually took the time to inspect my items before deciding not to accept them. This is now my “go to” place for selling all my clothes and shoes.”

“Just discovered this place today. Awesome! Wearing a new shirt right now. Dressing rooms were a little cramped but this place was pretty clean and had some great stuff! More tops than bottoms but I mean the shirts were really cute that I got and I got one dress and one pair of shorts. Lots of jeans, which is good if that’s what you’re into but I’m more of a skirts and shorts person. Also it’s summer. But anyway over all recommend this place! They have some really cute stuff. Would give 4.5/5 stars if I could. You should go here! Not pricey at all. Shirts 3-8 bucks on average. Got a pair of filas for 15 bucks and saw some nike airs for 50! Also have bath and body works mists and lotions at the front along with some claw clips, stickers, purses and more! Check it out for sure.”
