Facilities are very clean. They treat all of the animals as their own, with a lot of love. Definitely visit them to find your furry forever family member.

Got our dog there November 2023 and we couldn’t be happier. He was a blessing to our lives. RAL did a great job getting us paired up, and we also got a free coupon for his first doctor’s appointment and some free toys. Thank you for all that you do!

RAL is a top quality rescue with an amazing team of people! I’ve fostered several dogs and volunteered at the shelter, and everyone cares super deeply about the animals and addressing all of their medical issues, individualized needs, etc.

They are very good to the animals here. I like that they do thorough background checks on where the animals go instead of just adopting them out to anybody.

We have adopted cats from them twice in 10 years. They do an excellent job of medical care for their pets before they make them available for adoption, and they provide a thorough documentation for you to take to the vet. The facility is clean and it’s obvious that the volunteers adore these animals. The adoption process is streamlined and quick.

I took my pup in to get spayed and I would highly recommend RAL for your needs! They were extremely professional, did a great job, and took wonderful care of my furry friend. They were also very responsive to all my questions both pre and post-op. I could not sing higher praises for this institution.

A phenomenal organization that does everything right. Volunteer or apply to be a foster for them and you won't regret it. Their professionalism and the personable nature make them an impressive team. Seeing how often people visit just to say hi or drop off donations or give updates about their adoptions warms my heart right up. They reserve judgement and instead show compassion and are highly committed to doing what's right and best for their animals. I can't speak highly enough of this place. Even if you aren't looking to adopt, consider taking the time to volunteer or donate to help keep this fantastic organization doing what they do best- saving lives and completing families.

They seem to be doing great work for animals. I attended a charity event here where they collaborated with True Tattoo. All the staff was very friendly. The pricing for adopting the animals is very reasonable. We will seriously consider getting our next dog or cat from RAL!

Do your due diligence. I adopted a cat here, where during the paperwork completion they disclosed he had FIV (no sign of his condition on his file or cage). Of course, this caught me off guard and I went home to do my own research. I came back and completed the paperwork, after being reassured he had a slight cold and latent FIV, but was otherwise healthy. Less than 6 days later, my new baby collapsed and I rushed him to a local emergency vet. The vet informed me that my cat had been fighting a blood bacteria that had been slowly killing him for MONTHS. Mind you, he was in RAL’s care for over 4 months - if the shelter had done the appropriate basic blood tests, it would have shown him having severe life-threatening anemia. The vet suggested I put him down because he had a 10% chance of making it. I spent over $2,000 in life-saving veterinary care for a cat I had adopted less than a week before. He survived. When I brought the issue to RAL, asking them to reimburse me for a portion of the vet bills, they told me they were sorry for my circumstances but it was solely my problem since I signed a contract releasing them of any responsibility or liability upon his adoption.
DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE! Make sure they are being 100% transparent about your new baby. I am grateful my cat made it through but if RAL had been thorough in the care of their animals, he would not have been suffering for so long and I would not have been out thousands of dollars within a week of adopting him.
Luckily my cat is perfectly healthy now, no thanks to them. He is perfect. Picture of post-almost dying.

Gave me a cat with ringworms, knowing i had another cat at home, and did not disclose this information to me. I saw a random medication in my new cats file and asked what it was, and the person at the desk said it was for stress… upon searching it up when i got home, it was in fact for ring worm. This place is very unprofessional. Go to SPCA that’s where I got my other cat. They are amazing.
