“Great place to take your kids . Clean restrooms, clean park . Oh did I mention Fenced in , and you can have Birthday parties or any kind of Celebration with a reservation of course have to show some consideration for others .”
“Both our dogs have been spayed and neutered at this facility. We have continued to use them for our routine vaccines. Our dogs are very fearful of people and the staff have always been friendly and patient! Highly recommend”

“If I can give more than 5 stars, I would! The Doorways has been a wonderful blessing to me and my family.When you first walk in, you are instantly greeted with warm smiles by the check in clerks. They are happy to help and answer any questions you have.The general areas as well as the rooms have a homey type of feeling. Just beautiful!I felt right at home and slept great. This was exactly the atmosphere I needed while going through a medical crisis.Thankyou!”
“my experience at sacred heart was excellent there was no wait time everyone was called you I had questions the doctor was on site to answer my questions and with the 15-minute wait I'm to make sure that after you received the shot it was a 15 minute wait and to make sure that everything's on was fine so I encourage all my sisters and brothers to get this shot for protection if we can so please do not hesitate go online sign to register if you have an appointment go to it if you know anyone who needs assistance I'm have them to call it Church nearby to see if there's transportation again go and get the shot.”
“Joining this YMCA might be the best decision I've made since moving to Richmond. Super clean, great pool, and everybody is so friendly, staff and members alike. I also love that I can go to any Y with my membership, has come in handy while traveling or even just checking out the other Ys in Richmond.”

“The staff here are really nice and friendly. The only complaint I have is that the gym can feel really small especially during busy hours, but I understand that they're doing renovations. The swimming pool can get crowded sometimes too, and I'm not the biggest fan to going through the pools to get to the gym, but I don't mind it. Definitely recommend the rock wall.”

“We adopted our sweet boy from Richmond SPCA. It was a wonderful experience and the staff and counselors were so helpful throughout the process. If we decide to adopt again we will be using Richmond SPCA. The animals are well taken care of. They make sure your new family member is up to date on shots and the vet examined before they are adopted. The visiting areas are clean and the animals are happy. Filling out the adoption questionnaire online before you come in is helpful.”
“We had our puppy spayed here a couple years ago and I just realized I never left a review. I can not sing the praises of this place enough. They did a wonderful job and our girl healed so quickly we never needed a cone or suit. They are so much more affordable than any vet around”
“I absolutely love the Chester YMCA. The people are nice, the place is clean and they offer a lot of good classes. The pool is good and the bathroom facilities are good. This is the only YMCA that I have fun in the classes I take. I have taken classes at the other Y's, but I have the most fun with the people in Chester.”
“This is a truly phenomenal program. The second you walk into the building you know you are in a special place, and it just keeps getting better. Everyone who works and volunteers there is kind and caring. The kids all love it and the content of the curriculum is amazing and really prepares even young kids for school and life. Our son has been there since he was one and has thrived. We are so thankful to be a part of the Friends family.”

“I really like this goodwill, they are my favorite in Richmond for dresses and shoes. They always have a ton of nice shoes, a lot of which are brand new it would seem. I've never seen it too busy here either, which can be a problem at other Goodwills. It's a medium sized Goodwill in a new-ish building so things are still pretty nice inside facilities-wise. They have a good parking lot too which is always a plus!”
“I participated in a volunteer activity at the ToolBank where we (in groups of three) built four picnic tables to be placed in the community. While I'm sure the highly skilled people running the bank could have built the same picnic table in 20 minutes that took us three hours, this was an excellent team building activity and was a lot of fun. I learned a good bit about using different tools and I felt a great sense of accomplishment at the end. They also sell kits to make the picnic tables at your own home, and then place in the community.I had no idea that the ToolBank existed, and will definitely use them for future needs for my nonprofit. I even noticed folding chairs, tables, and coolers. Will definitely use them for any and all event hosting.”

“Purchased a dishwasher, new in box for a third of cost. They have used everything too. Doors, cabinets etc and all kinds of household items and appliances. Tools, paint, flooring. But if you see it buy it! Too great a price to hold out. Never know what you might find.”

From the tool share to the earn-a-bike program, the free kid's bikes to the bins on bins of parts to dig through, from their events to the people who make the place actually function, the best and most socially and practically useful operation in the city within it's market (cycling).Wheel Simple would not exist if Rag & Bones did not exist when I needed a home and a workspace to truly stretch out and spread my wings :)”
“I tried the 10th Street Y last week because my usual gym (downtown) was closed for renovations, and I was so excited to see how great this little spot is. Small but has all the things you need, and very clean/updated. This location is actually closer to my house so I look forward to returning here in the future. The only hard part was finding parking and making it from parking to the gym -- could use more signage.”

“It's a great place for children to go and they actually do thing with the kids. They go in field trips and have different activities that all the children can enjoy and participate in.”
“Great place for practicing. Grass tees are always open besides the winter, understandably. Par 3 course let’s you practice most aspects of your game and the chipping and bunker practice area is great. On the driving range I do wish there were yard markers every 50 yards to get a more accurate distance of my shots.”
“This place is such a welcoming and non judgemental environment for LGBTQ+ youth. Would definitely recommend it whether you are new in town, or even if you're a local looking for an accepting place to meet people who understand you.”
