I have gone to 3 different Wells Fargo Banks in the Norfolk, VA area. Ghent is by far the best service around and better than the Wells Fargo Banks I dealt with in the Richmond, VA areas. I was shocked to see the low scores on the review. The tellers are always very good and knowledgeable, the branch manager is fantastic and very hands on, and I don't know what her title is, but she helps you open accounts, etc. I actually followed her to the Ghent branch, that's how good and personal she is. I am so grateful that the Ghent location team is there, I do have to drive 25 minutes to get there, but it worth it!
I have to go to another WF tomorrow that's on my way to an appointment. I choose the better branch of the 2. My friend sent me the review of the one I always have to wait, when I go there. It made me curious about Ghent.
Again, the Ghent Branch is a great bank to do business with. Thank you!

This is the most unprofessional, uncourteous establishment I have ever been to. The tellers didn't know their job and looked crazy when a manager or supervisor was asked for, which never came because they're on vacation. How is a bank running with no manager or supervisor? This is the worst experience I have ever dealt with a bank. I would never give them my business or put my funds with them. At that experience level, my money may go missing.

I came in to open a account and “Tin Nguyen “ offered to help .Then he pretended to get a phone call .I know he pretends bc there was no alert and I work in a call center so I’m familiar with how a phone works..anyways he leaves his desk and shuts himself in his office for 25 minutes.At this point I take all my belongings and go elsewhere.Super unprofessional

Just opened an account with Jodi Whyte! She was beyond helpful and personable. She helped me find the best account for my situation. She was patient, kind, and made me feel welcomed. 10/10 recommend all your visits be with her! she’s awesome ?

Do not go to this bank!!!!! I would never open an account here thanks to Nayyirah Cooper!! She's rude, and really needs another job. Her customer service skills are very poor, and so is her appearance!!! Aaron Perlewitz is nonchalant, and can't handle his employees. I don't think he can handle the job, this is my first and last visit!!!!

Why are all the Wells Fargo’s in Norfolk closed on a Saturday ? I have to drive to Portsmouth, through a toll in order to cash a check ? Kinda BS. No drive thrus available, nothing. Guess I need a new bank.

I come here very often, I'm always greeted, the staff is wonderful and know me by first name basis. I only come to this Wells Fargo location even though there are many in the area. It's a great experience every time I come here.

Super nice staff. Very consistent and quick. I wish they had mints like the branches in Arizona, that's always nice since you usually have face to face contact with the tellers and you wouldn't want your hot breath to smack the tellers face.
