Only read this if you have a cup of tea and a little time on your hands. I'm a talker. So if I could give zero Stars I would. And that is unfortunate because there's a lady at the front cashiers deskbwith glasses that is always polite and greets you kindly. Also Shay in the pharmacy I've known her for years always does her very best.
But I had the worst customer service experience of my adult life. And I'm 50. I ain't no younging. ?????So I'm an insulin dependent diabetic. Have been since I was a teenager. I have a specialty insulin that I take and I have to order it. I order it two weeks before I ran out. Of course the app said out of stock. For many many days I started to get nervous but I was sure it would come in. So finally it comes in.?? Because of my diabetes I lost my vision and cannot drive. But I can still see some. But not drivable sight. So I plan out my days and my errands carefully so I can keep my budget on track. The app said that they would hold my prescription until June 28th. On the day I'm writing this it is June 28th. So I went to my doctor's appointment and decided to go and get my prescription in the afternoon. I went to check the app to see if my doctor had put in the second prescription I needed and surprise??♀️ It said that my first prescription the special insulin prescription was canceled. My full post exceeded the amount of characters.

They Racial profile me and said my money was fake and refused to take my 100 dollar bill with to another Walgreens and they took the 100 dollar bill with no problem

I'm at home with covid, I placed an order for some covid tests for the other members in my family for curbside pickup. I sent my wife to pick the items up. I called the store let the employees on the phone know that my wife was waiting outside for our pickup. I gave the lady on the phone my last name of 'Clark'. 35 minutes pass still no curbside, so I told my wife to come home, she wasn't feeling well. I call the store back to have them cancel the order because we're going to use CVS instead. The manager on duty starts off the conversation basically calling me a liar saying my wife and young girl picked up the items from inside the store. When there's no other females in my family, nor did any females go with my wife, nor did my wife get out of the car in fear of being positive for covid. The 'Manager on duty' then says she has multiple 'Clark's' in her system, ok shouldn't she have asked ME when I called which Clark? How are we supposed to know as the customer that there was multiple Clark orders? This is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever gotten from this location. If she is a manager, she needs to go back through customer service training.

Never have I ever experienced so much disappointment and discard from a Walgreens. I place a Rx refill at 7am on the app and was told it will be ready by 1pm. Dang that a Long wait! Oh well, I never heard from the store regarding my refill. I called a spoke to a employee name Reggie. Because of his Rude tone and lack of customer support I asked to speak with someone else. Never have I ever had to speak to a Manager in the Pharmacy and now to speak to AMY, I don’t know how she’s a manager. She did absolutely nothing except blame the Walgreens app for my Rx being complete in a timely manner and rude customer service. I’ve been going to this Walgreens for over 20 years and I’ve never experienced this type of treatment. This will definitely be my last visit hear. I’m sure Walmart or Rite Aid would Never treat customers like this.

I try my best to not leave bad reviews unless it’s warranted because everyone and every business has bad days but this pharmacy is consistently behind and prescriptions are never ready on time. I’ve given them several chances as it’s the most convenient location for myself and my family but I’ve had enough. Prescriptions that should take a couple hours at most are taking multiple days to fill. They will tell you it will be ready at a certain time and then when you go to pick it up, they will say it won’t be ready for several more hours after that or even the next day. They consistently blame it on insurance but there is no way it is always an insurance problem especially when I haven’t had insurance issues at other pharmacies. They are disorganized and slow moving but then blame other parties for the issue.

Not really sure what to say here, I got a message saying my prescription was not in stock, the message said to call if I need it today. So I called and they said nope out of stock, but you can call the other Walgreens to see if they have it.
So the problem I have with this interaction is subpar customer service, because when I called the first two it was on hold for 10-15 mins each, then the third call was successful in that, they were very polite and offered to find a Walgreens that had the medication. The nice person I spoke with called another Walgreens, confirmed they had it. She then called me back to make sure I was good with traveling to that location, and then called them back to have them pull my prescription to fill it there. The Walgreens on 115W Little Creek has been the worst Pharmacy I have dealt with in a long time.

The most disgusting dramatic view of pharmacy customer service I’ve ever seen at this location…..the lady at the computer was not only rude, but then proceeded to verbally get hostile and aggressive at other teammates saying she was “getting pissed off” because nobody would help her on the computer. When the pharmacist did become available he did not assist, even though his help was requested by us and the other staff….so then the yelling kept happening. Save the drama. Go to a different pharmacy.

"Your prescription will be ready in 2 hours."
*Hang around the area for 2 hours before going home, since we live 45 minutes away.
2 hours later when we go to pick it up, "Oh, its out of stock." No phone call or anything.

Obviously, switching my pharmacy, however, be warned, if they are busy, out of your med, or just for no reason they can give you...they will mark your prescription "Delayed, Reviewing Insurance" I called my insurance, they had no problem. I called the pharmacy, waited on hold forever, when someone answered the phone, they said "oh, it is good you called, I have it right here." (They had had it for 3 days!) When I questioned what the problem was, they said it was insurance. I replied that I called the insurance company and there was no problem. When pressed for an answer, they said I don't know, I have your medication. So I have it 4 days after the doctor prescribed it, and I shouldn't complain. My advice-Find another pharmacy...Walgreens at 115 W Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA does not want your business if you would like them to be prompt and professional.

Pharmacy is constantly "slammed" and slow. They're understaffed, and the stress of it makes them rude and unhelpful.
