And to prove I am a real customer you are welcome to contact me and I will provide receipts and/or details of the work I have had done by Tommy, as well as a reference for him, or any pertinent information that is requested or that you would like to know. I wrote a similar review on google about 2 years ago like this one I am writing now. However, every now and then I like to write updates either because I went back again, because I am a happy customer who has consistently received great service and want to reward the business for incredible service by giving good updated reviews, or simply because I like the business and service I receive and want to inform other potential customers looking for a reliable and great mechanic that this is a great place to go. With that said, I'll give a brief summary of my experiences with Tommy's Complete Auto below. My family, my friends, and I, have been taking all the vehicles we have owned to Tommy for the past 16 years and he has ALWAYS done the job right and has ALWAYS done it for a reasonable price. Now when I say always, I literally mean that NOT ONE TIME HAS HE EVER DONE THE JOB INCORRECTLY OR RIPPED ME OR MY FAMILY OFF...NOT. ONE. TIME...EVER!!! And I am talking about at least an estimated one hundred or more jobs between myself, my family, and my friends, that Tommy has completed for us. These include anything from small jobs such as brake jobs, tune-ups, and oil changes, to bigger ones such as a/c repairs, slipping transmissions, and engine repairs such as blown head gaskets, and countless others. Tommy is the perfect example of an honest, hardworking, trustworthy, and self-made American businessman. Even when he is ridiculously and incredibly busy he has always found the time for me to look at and diagnose my vehicles problems and either begin working on them the same day I bring them in or the next day and never makes me wait. He also does the work in a timely manner and usually fixes the problem within a day and sometimes even the same day I bring it in, depending on the issue of course. And once he diagnosis the issue and finds out what is wrong and what needs to be done to fix the problem, he always calls me beforehand to give me a detailed explanation of everything. Also, if he tells me a certain day or time he will have it fixed by, 9 times out of 10 he will have it fixed when he says he will. On the rare occasion he knows he won't have it completed by the time he originally said and expected, then he will call me to let me know as well as what/if there are any unexpected problems that he has run into. There were 2 instances where I had to take my car to a couple of other places to get estimates and to get it fixed when he was out of town. The first place misdiagnosed the problem and the second place found the problem but tried charging me an astronomical fee. I decided to wait until Tommy got back in town the following week to have him look at my car, and not only did he give me the correct diagnoses AND fix the problem, but he charged me several hundreds of dollars less! In closing, I just want to say that having car trouble is one of the worst things that people can deal with because we depend so much on them in our daily lives and sometimes get blind sided when they unexpectedly break down and we find out how high it's going to cost to fix them. What's almost just as difficult as that is finding a great mechanic with integrity, who is honest, reliable, and trustworthy. It can sometimes be as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack. Fortunately for my family, my friends, and myself, we came across Tommy's Complete Auto close to two decades now, and we know from personal experience that we never have to worry about being ripped off, have ongoing problems that never get done right the first time, or anything even remotely close to what you'd expect or have to deal with from another mechanic who does poor work and rips off customers.
