“Absolutely love this place. The selection of clothes is always great - there's always a new selection of things coming in on a pretty frequent basis. The people working here are also just the nicest and super helpful! Would recommend any one who wants to find some nice retro clothes!”

“I used to go to church here as a child. Its weird to see it like this. First communion, confirmation, alter service. So many memories. But thats navy life, people and places always changing.”

“Everytime I need new work pants, this place is my go to! My pants have been ripped, sometimes had holes in them, etc. And I come here, use my father's senior discount, and get me a deal that allows me to be able to continuously replace my work pants. The staff here is so energetic and they're also really congenial. I also bought a pair of high heels from this store that I absolutely adored and even received a discount on those and nowadays I don't even find them in my household (think someone else took a peek and took for themselves wink wink). I've also donated here because I have had stuff to rid of, so thank you all for accepting and making the best of my donations. Because I am sure it might have been chattels for many people of our lovely Hampton Roads community and beyond. It is always good to know that the gift of giving can never expire. And that's what the whole point of Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters store.”

“I will not support this business any longer. I watched the worker jessica being extremely rude to another employee in front of a long line of customers. The worker told the manager, and i watched the manager lose the most friendly worker I've seen there. The owner of this place needs to do a major overhaul of the workers. It's unacceptable.Update: Thank you so much for replying and handling the problem worker! It's great to see people care! I will definitely come back after seeing how quickly you responded to me, and i imagine dealt with the situation.”

“We spent time chatting with the incredibly kind and knowledgeable owner- he gave us great tips on gear and fishing in the area. You can tell he is very passionate and sources his supplies from local vendors including tackle made by Hutch, his employee and expert angler! We will definitely be back!”

“I have been going to the Union Mission Thrift since it was on Granby Street. I love this store & even though I need nothing in my small home I love to go there & find things. Recently one of the employees also named Linda left & moved to the Carolinas. She will be missed. Everyone who works there is very nice & helpful. Saturdays the sale is everything 1/2 price except for new or grocery items. I truly miss the Warehouse sale that was held once a month before Covid. I found some real bargains there & I wish they would bring it back.”

“They always have decent selections even though sometimes it means rifling through every rack, nice staff, and it's easy to drop off donations right inside the door. Some days are discounted depending, which I can't remember offhand, so it may be worth a call if you're looking to save a few bucks (senior/military/etc.). There's typically space in the parking lot out front, too.”

“I absolutely loved this place! They had a wide selection... of well everything and were all decently priced if you went on the 25% off day. Definitely a bit of a dig to find things. However, if you're in need of cds, electronic, or just weird knick knacks look no further. Staff were super nice and even let me know you could use Apple Pay. Although, it's good to know that they have a $5 min on credits cards. And they have a rewards punch card if you go a lot.”

“Not a bad place. Scored a cool plush that is worth 40x what I paid. Most items have a start it very high and slowly work the prices down. Makes for sloppy and sometimes confusing tags.”

“Stopped here and was pleasantly surprised. Met a young man whose name starts with E and had nice hair and goatee that was superb. His knowledge of the place was very helpful and I can’t wait to shop again. Store was neat, well lit and good music. Great shopping experience.”
