So I'm here at 4 AM. Well, now it's 5, but I got here at 4. There's no attendant here. It's super quiet. It's clean the jumbo loader is $11something and the small ones are $3.25 I think. So. It seems right in line with all the other laundry mats. The dryers are only 50 cents. I haven't put anything in the dryers yet. So I don't know what kind of time increment you get for 50 cents. Seems higher than soap and suds. I don't remember what I paid. I know theirs were 10 minute increments.
So I don't want to say for sure. It's high because I haven't put anything in the dryer yet to know What the time increments are. I am, however, sketched out by the fact that there's no attending and there's somebody sleeping in a car in one of the car wash bays, and there's somebody in a Van on the other side of the building, sleeping.
There are no free vacuums, there are no vacuums at all, and it looks like somebody destroyed the machine to do the car wash and the bay doors to it are completely closed. So if you were planning on vacuuming your car or washing it while you did laundry, this is not the one you want to come to. On the plus side, this is like the only laundry Mat I could find. That's open 24/7, so maybe next time I'll try the other one in norfolk. Especially, if it's gonna be somewhere between 2-5am that i'm doing laundry.

There needs to be a system!
I have been coming to this location ever sense it first opened. Love how convenient this location is. Seen the good, the odd (some of the homeless folks, and tonight I experienced the bad.
There are 3 huge washing machines. One in the front row all the way to the left, and two in the side row, one each on the ends. When I arrived there was a nice woman unloading her clothing from the huge front row machine. I asked if I may use the machine when she was done, asked if anyone was waiting on it. She said sure, nobody was waiting. I was happy. I went to retrieve my clothing from the car and came back to a rude woman telling me she had been waiting; I could not use it. The nice lady said she did not know and apologized.
So I noticed the one in the far end of the side row, all the way to the back, was empty, though blocked by rolling baskets. So i started to move the baskets so i could use the machine. Rude woman hollered that I could not use that one either, she was using it. I asked why aren't your items in it then? And why do you need the other machine too? She claimed she wanted to start the machines at the same time. Okydoky...
The third machine was running with a full load I decided I would wait the 10 mins rather than dealing with the unreasonable woman. Nope, she was waiting on that one too. So I loaded up two smaller machines.
A short while later a nice couple came in and asked if those were my clothes in the original big machine. I said no, it belonged to the rude (I did not say rude outloud, it is an identifier for this review) lady in the back; she had thrown some dirty laundry in there to hold the machine. They asked her if they could use the machine she said no she needed it but the running machine that was just ending its cycle, they could use. The machine she had just told me I was not allowed to use. Because she was holding it.
Look, I will say this, I and the rude woman were different races. I overheard her saying things about me to her husband (?) and friend that were not flattering towards my race. The nice couple were the same race as her. I feel this was a factor in her rudeness and decisions. Though I'm glad the couple got to use the machine.
We all have lives, work we need to get to the next day, etc. I just wanted to get in, get my laundry including my work clothing done, and get home so I can get some sleep. This whole situation wasted more time than it needed to. Folks don't need to be so selfish, we're all working towards the same damn goal.
There needs to be a queuing system! Then everybody can take their fair turn.

I've lived in this area for about 5 years now and today was my first time coming. I am very satisfied. The place is very clean, the machines are very efficient and it's affordable. The attendant NIKKI was amazing and very helpful. This will definitely be my new place to wash clothes. They all have a loyalty program. Please check them out. Thank you Wash House

I’ve been coming here for a few months and I really like it! Affordable, the dryers get hot so it reduces drying time. I like the card kiosk options rather than the old school coins system. If I had to make a recommendation (or perk) to management for the returning customers, it would be a rewards /points system. That would be a great incentive to get ahead of competition off Little Creek road!
