Less than 11 hours ago I decided to go ahead with taking a chance with visiting The Treasure Shop thrift store in Norfolk Virginia to save some money on purchasing a navy uniform that
is actually a uniform essential. I was relieved to find the type of uniform that I was looking for available in my current size and fortunately there was a dressing room available for I to ensure that the pants and top fit me. I only paid 40 dollars for the purchase. In addition to donated military uniforms there are some books available and uniforms for various paygrades. The person handling my navy uniform purchase was friendly (for obvious reasons be ready to show your military photo i.d.).

I used to go to church here as a child. Its weird to see it like this. First communion, confirmation, alter service. So many memories. But thats navy life, people and places always changing.

The volunteers are super sweet and extremely appreciative of my uniform donations. Definitely a lot of lightly used uniforms at great prices for those looking for newer items or accessories for uniforms. Cute selection of 2nd hand consignment stuff as well. Definitely recommend checking this place out when they're open.

I have a uniform inspection coming up and my uniforms no longer fit after the birth of my son, I tried out this little shop on base and it really paid off, got my new uniform for a fraction of what it would cost new at the nex. I did have to go to the nex and get pins and a new ribbon rack and spent the same on those as for the rest of the whole uniform. If you’re getting out or have uniform items that you’re getting rid of in good condition consider donating them to this place!

Everything was in GREAT condition! Bought nearly new top ($20) and bottom ($20) with many undershirts (50¢). most items are 50% off or more. if it sits for more than 60 days, it is an additional 75% off. You can do the math on how cheap that is.

You're foolish to be on base and not stop by the Navy version of a Goodwill! Not only are the volunteers fantastic, and the funds raised go to great causes, but you can usually find a uniform component or two that you need at a fraction of the NEX price.

The is an on-base consignment shop. The staff are volunteers who are very helpful. The shop has lots of crystal and other nice items that make great gifts. Military uniforms are available and in good condition.
