This is worst dealership I have ever been too in my adult life. I ordered a Charger Hellcat Redeye widebody Jailbreak in February of 23'. They put in the order and I heard nothing from them about it. I was told it was being built and it was a particular stage of build, but that was only because i called and they never called me. Finally someone called back and said the car was cancelled by Stallantis and they had to put a new order in. They put in the new order without the Redeye package, and never told me. Finally in August after I had to show up at the dealership screaming about where the car was in the build process, they gave me a tracking number and the build sheet from february showing I had a Redeye being made. Finally in November this year, they say your car is ready. I drive down from Northern Va to Norfolk which was three hour drive, I look at the car and its the wrong build. Its a Jailbreak Charger, Not a Redeye! The salesmen looks at my folder where the build sheets are, and it has two build sheets, the orginal one that I wanted and the second one they ordered when they said they put it in the order again. Remember, I came down in August and they gave me the copy of the original build from february and said this is what is coming in. They never showed the second build that was without the Redeye package. He says oh your right, well sorry, i didnt put the order in. And thats all I got from the salesmen that day. Drove three hours down, stayed 30 minutes mad that they could mess up my order that bad and not even tell me and drove back home. They later said that we could not build a Redeye, so thats why we got the jailbreak. They said they told me this, they lied about that. That was to be my last sports car before i retired. What a waste of time and energy. They are not working to give me my 1000 dollars back that i put down on the car to secure it. Do not go here to buy your car, you will not get any honesty from these people. I only went there because they are considered a powerbroker by Dodge to sell the remaining Hellcats and had 1 allotment left for a Hellcat. They lied from the beginning about my car and lied at the end about what happened. I could not buy the car from my dodge dealer in Richmond as they are not considered a "powerbroker" for selling the Hellcat. So, I was made to go to a dealership that I did not know or trust. If you want a car go to Whitten Brothers Dodge in Richmond. They will treat you right and like family. Southern Dodge treats you like trash. Avoid this place at all costs. At the end of the conversation with them that morning about the car being the wrong build, they still asked if I wanted the one that came in still!

Extremely disappointed in this dealership. I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone.For starters, when they sell you a used car, they will try to upsell you a warranty. Please don’t fall for it. They make it extremely difficult for you to use that warranty.Secondly, their maintenance department is not able to support the warranty in a timely manner.I needed repairs done to my car and they made me an appointment seven weeks out.Seven. Weeks.Please go somewhere else with your business.

Scummy Scummy bait and switch!!! I reported them to the BBB. Now lets get into it. I was looking online and inquired about a vehicle. They said they still had it and I made the appointment to come in on Saturday. Talked to them Saturday morning to confirm it was still there. ........15 minutes later, I show up only to be told it was sold. TF??? I was told don't worry we have other vehicles. I walked right out of the back office and to the front desk. I tore into them about wasting my time and deceiving me. The stupid looks on their faces said everything. Never buy here.

Excellent service from Jo Jo spence. The man treated me as family and made sure I was comfortable with the purchase before I stepped forward.Heather from finance department was extremely helpful ensuring I could find an affordable loan and explained things thoroughly.Southern has excellent customer service and I will recommend friends and family to stop by when looking into purchasing vehicles.

We have had nothing but grief from the service department of Southern. It is clear to me that their front line employees are not held to appropriate levels of professional communication. Our truck was towed in about a month ago due to salt water into the engine from flooding. It was over a week before the service manager even looked at the vehicle. He stated that the techs looked at it and "it was full of sand and was obviously underwater into the cab". He never looked at it and said they would start no engine diagnostics until the insurance adjuster came out because they were going to total the vehicle due to the cab damage. All of this was a complete shock to us to the point that we requested that he look at the VIN because the truck had NOT been submerged. He became very defensive and angry when we challenged him on the vehicle being submerged. He still did not go out and look at it at all. It took us driving four hours round trip to force the manager to even look at the vehicle, at which time he confirmed that indeed, it was NOT submerged despite his previous insistence that it had been. One+ week of repair delay due to his failure. Then we caught him in multiple lies as to his contacts with the insurance, to the point that we had the insurance contact search his call list to see if he had missed any calls or if there were any messages left. One more week of delay due to his failures. Additionally the man was bombastic and condescending and just basically a rude individual. When we walk into the service counter, no one ever even greets us or acknowledges our presence...this is ongoing from previous repair work. We asked for a different manager. Another week or two has passed. The past week we were told they were again waiting on insurance. WE had to call the insurance contact who confirmed he had not heard from them and had no idea what they were talking about. We again forced contact with the insurance company by the service department and finally there has been movement to continue repairs on the truck. Just no initiative on the part of the service department. When we have called the service department, 50% of the time the contact people have been rude and talked over us. Today I was told "I don't want to hear all that stuff" by the woman who answered the phone, who then continued to talk over me rather than listen to my answer to her question. Personally after being strung out by these people, being $1000 into a rental vehicle due to their delays, lies, and failures to follow up, I don't care what she "wants" to hear. They have failed us miserably. Miserably. We should NEVER have taken the vehicle to them. The really sad thing is that this is the second vehicle we have purchased from them. Had this been handled in a customer friendly way, they could have converted us to a repeat truck purchase, trading this vehicle for a new one. Sad for them that the management is not holding their staff to better customer service. Driving "Southern Style" is not for us any longer. We are just hoping that when the vehicle is eventually returned it actually works, because I see no commitment to quality or responsiveness here.

Bought a 2023 Jeep Compass Sport. I got the price I was asking for and any issue I had with the vehicle was handled quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this dealership for anyone searching for that new vehicle. Thank you to Ricky and David for all you did for us!

Every time I call them for service they get me right in. I actually failed to fill out a survey, but I want share now how awesome this place is. They even have loaner cars. The people are super nice and service is quick. I would recommend buying a car here too, just for the service.

Pretty poor customer experience. They advertise on carfax and other websites to call for pricing because the vehicles for sale don't have prices on them. They literally ask to please call for price. When you call the sales department they then tell you they are not allowed to discuss pricing that you MUST make an appointment to come in to find out. I clarified several times that it literally says to call for price. I don't want to waste my time driving all the way to a dealership for surprise pricing. Who has this as a policy??? I politely decline and will shop at a reputable and customer focused dealership. If it's that hard to get a price then who wants to do business with them!!!

You can't actually buy a new or used car from this dealership for the advertised price online. Thousands AND THOUSANDS in hidden fees! That's a big ethical problem.
