Selden Market is Norfolk’s first retail incubator, offering a vibrant space for local, small businesses to grow and showcase their unique products. It features a mix of new retail concepts, food options, and art, making it a lively hub in downtown Norfolk. Visitors can find a variety of special gifts, including home decor, jewelry, wallets, skateboards, and apparel. There are also tasty food choices, such as a French café with excellent coffee and macrons, and a place to enjoy a flavorful miso ramen. The market is conveniently located in the heart of the city, close to the Slover Library, art in Norfolk Hilton: The Main, and parking facilities, making it easy for both visitors and locals to explore. Selden Market also maintains a rich history connected to the well-known Selden family, adding a touch of legacy to the shopping experience. It’s a great place to stroll, shop small and local, and enjoy a variety of activities. The market often features creative, high-quality pop-up shops and offers a relaxing environment, especially during quieter times downtown. Whether browsing for unique gifts, enjoying a meal, or discovering art and activities, Selden Market is a welcoming spot that highlights Norfolk’s local charm and entrepreneurial spirit.

I love coming here for breakfast, lunch or to grab sweets from the various vendors. Avocargo is my favorite....the cabbage collards and the sweet potato egg rolls are my favorites!

I walked through this Market on my way to the Hilton downtown. It has a lot of local independent shops, kind of resembling popups. Quite a few places to take you something to eat. I'll probably stop through their purposefully within the next month or so.
