Hey, the experience at Beauty unleashed is a vibe. Chatira did my hair exactly how I wanted when I had twists and helped me transition into locs. The environment is good with the background music and conversation.

Stylist cut random strands on the back of my head way too short. Only reason I found out was because I went to a different salon to get the highlights I got done at Regis fixed and she showed me the short hair.

They hired someone who hasn't worked doing hair for 16 years. My haircut is super lopsided. I have to wear it in braids now until it grows out. I came to get a haircut that would help me feel better but now I feel more self conscious... dont go here.

Mariah was my hair stylist. She did an incredible job from start to finish. I love my haircut - she was so patient with me and did exactly what a wanted. That is no easy feat because I'm very particular. I have very curly hair and requested a blowout with flat iron for a function tonight. I received lots of compliments. I couldn't be happier. If I wasn't an out of towner in Norfolk for a business trip, Mariah would be my stylist indefinitely!

This is the worst hair appointment experience I have ever had. The staff are incompetent and unprofessional. Please avoid this place at all cost, especially if you have natural curls.

Very friendly staff, prices were made very clear, they made my baby sisters hair look amazing, listened to her checked in with me and made my other sisters hair look equally awsome! I was extremely pleased with the service we recieved.

My hair was completley butchered by Mariah, despite mentioning concerns throughout. Manager Elaine "fixed" it which only further butchered my hair and with no remorse. She was condescending, blamed "build up" as the reason my hair "falls a certain way" instead of acknowledging how badly they ruined my hair. Denied me a refund, would not provide me with the number to contact corporate instead just told me what I could Google to look it up. Was not sorry for what they did but said she was sorry that I "wasnt happy with the services offered". I have never experienced such an emotionally traumatizing experience at any establishment. This manager should be replaced, and the staff should be required to have further training.

This place is TERRIBLE. They destroyed this poor woman's hair and I would never set foot in here. Wouldn't even give a refund after they tried to “fix†it. I would be suing if it was me.
