Chike was helpful and knowledgeable about all things Lagos. I was drawn to the art and bought some originals which are living happily in my apartment. There is some beautiful original work there which I encourage you to go enjoy!
There are tables and chairs and books, cards, and games to be played with or purchased. They sometimes have tea.
It's my new sanctuary where I can go and sit after a yoga class at the nearby Y!

What a jewel for Norfolk! Today a friend and I visited Pure Lagos where we were welcomed into a calming, relaxed environment. Being inside the venue was like visiting a little bit of Nigeria, New Orleans, and Norfolk all rolled into one. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. This is definitely a place you want to visit whether you live here or are passing through .

Pure Lagos is an amazing experience. Wonderful art, literature. and culture. The owner, Sia, offers readings and spiritual guidance. I was so moved that I will be continuing to counsel from Pennsylvania.

What an absolutely beautiful store! All of the art is breathtaking and some of the most fabulous clothing and gifts. This store is a hidden gem in Norfolk and the owners are kind, wonderful people. We highly recommend and will be back soon!

Clothing, some linen, purses, baskets, skin care, and beautiful art. Every inch of this shop is filled with unique and eclectic items. When you visit you will find a plethora of handmade items from Kenya, Nigeria and many more. All part of the Fair Trade Act.. I personally am in love with hand made and beautiful. This trip I got a beautiful handmade pillow case made from a hand dye fabric called Batik. I will use this as a display pillow and display it on the back of my couch.

I purchased a tee shirt with African printon it to get home to find it was too small. I went back to exchange it or get refunded. I wasn't interested in what was being offered and soon found out they dont do refunds.Out of my money and stuck with a shirt too small
