Nice apartments but in the winter it's very drafty. I have to sit in my living room with my feet off the floor and with a blanket. The walls and floors are very thin. The neighbor above me when they walk I hit every crack in the floor. I have informed maintenance several times and nothing has been done. It's very annoying to hear people walking over your head all night long with a squeaky floor that wakes you up.

If we could give 0 stars we would! If you are a military family run!! Spend more money on a nicer apartment or home & nicer area of town. Not a place you want to raise a family in. We have had issues with rats, spiders, roaches, cracks all over our walls, mold, recently our door got jammed and we couldn’t get out of our apartment! If there was an emergency/fire we would have had to jump over the balcony with our baby & dog. All this place cares about is your money! Maintenance is a joke & they fail to put in your requests when you call so things can be fixed! They are constantly getting new people and their management sucks! The office doesn’t care either and aren’t friendly. Don’t let them fool you into thinking this place is great. Our neighbors have also had issues as well and they can’t wait to get out of here too. Don’t let their quick replies justify themselves either. Do better Pinewood Gardens!!Also going to add how terrible the parking is here as well. This guy is taking up two places and maintenance is always parking in spots as well. We pay too much to live here we shouldn’t have to fight for a parking spot!

Unsupervised kids in the gym, damaging gym equipment( I wonder if thats how the glass broke last time) no one from facilities, Security, Management, Maintenance comes and checks the treadmills to see if they need maintenance, one tradmill needs lubricant, the other one is on incline error. You submit a ticket for maintenance to come by and it seems that they dont even come in the apartment.Check out all the other reviews from roaches and rat infestations, they speak for themselves.9/2024Still have unsupervised kids in the gym everyday, kicking soccer balls on the walls and using gym equipment not knowing the consequences of getting hurt or worse. Pinewood has to be more strict in these type of things if they want residents to be happy, it doesn't take much to have either the security guard or maintenance people come kick people out that are not residents or unsupervised children under the age of 18.

Now that I've moved out and don't worry about any retaliation for what's said I feel comfortable giving a comprehensive review of my lived experience at Pinewood Gardens. The location is nice and access to things is definitely a plus. You have many grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants in close proximity. We had a 3 bedroom and it was spacious enough for our kids and us to feel comfortable. The walls aren't so thin that you hear everything your neighbor is saying, but you can hear things and smell things. I did like that gas from the stovetop was covered in rent, but they have done away with that as of recently. Bugs are a thing, we had spiders, waterbugs, a bad fly problem, and squirrels at one point. The HVAC is protected by "mesh" in a storage room by the kitchen, but really any critter can and will get in through there and into your apartment. Some people had bad bird infestations in the spring, you could see them flying in and out of the roofing. You do have to call for pest control to come out, even though you pay a monthly pest control fee you are responsible for calling and getting put on the list for them to come out. The guy only comes out on Wednesdays. We liked the few playgrounds when they were maintained (they're all pretty old and some need to be redone for safety reasons, but I do not believe that it is something that will be dealt with anytime in the near future) so you do have to keep an eye on them, plus other residents let their dogs poop around them which is more of a residents attitude vs the property as a whole. The grounds as a whole are maintained pretty well, the regularly cut the grass and shrubs and blow leaves off your porch (if you're on the first floor). Aesthetically, nice to come home to seeing.Maintenance, when they get it right, they're great. They, like the front office staff, have a high turnover rate, so you never really can build a relationship with them. These buildings are old so I had to call out for things often. If you live on the first floor, be prepared to have more than the standard plumbing issues. My upstairs neighbors would pour grease down the drain and the pipes are connected so our kitchen sink would back up often. Keep in mind the sink is connected to the dishwasher so that back up is going in there as well. Maintenance would come pretty quickly when it came to the flooding and would clean up and fix the problem. Anything else, you're gonna wait. In the almost 2 years I was there many things that needed to be replaced weren't. Sewage backups are a constant reoccurances, and if your sewage starts to back up on a weekend. Get a plunger, cause they're not fixing it until Monday (or Tuesday if there's a holiday on Monday).Front office is okay, customer service is great when moving in. After that you don't really see them much unless you need something They do try their best in hosting events, but the community doesn't really feel participatory. Office manager could use some further education in customer service. My biggest issue with this place is safety. I did not feel safe here, my family did not feel safe here. My husband's car was stolen and totaled and then 6 months later his new car was broken into along with mine and 12 other residents (could be more but that was our section). Their security was no help and they (Pinewood)refused to put cameras up in the parking lots after knowing of the repeated problem. The front office will use security as an our as the contract them with a private company. They wait for the security driver to finish his shift and break into cars. It was so disheartening, because management did not care at all no matter how many sad faces they had to pretend to give residents asking for results.Overall, it's a place to live. People will continue to lease here and things will continue to go on. I first moved in paying 1350 my neighbor says that he's paying 1850 while that may be the trend around here the price does not seem to justify what you are truly

I’m enjoying my new apartment as I type this, it wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for Jade our leasing agent. She was very professional and polite . A gentle but assertive soul, who was patient, understanding and thorough. She made me feel comfortable and we had great communication through the whole process. I felt from the begining to end that I was in safe hands and she had my best interest at heart. She is such an amazing person. Thanks again Jade. If you ever read this

Toured here a few days ago after just making the decision to drop in randomly and had the pleasure of being assisted by Jade. LITERALLY THE SWEETEST LADY ON EARTH!. She was super informative, thorough, friendly and just inviting. She answered all of the million and one questions I had with pleasure. I could tell this was a good place to live just by how much enthusiasm she had in describing it and showing me around. After having toured several other properties this week and still having more to go, I made the decision to stop my search and reside here at Pinewood. When it comes to finding a place to live, not only do I consider the location and home itself, but the staff that I will be dealing with on any basis as well. Thank you again Jade for all of your help and for making me feel at home already!

My rental agent was Carolyn F., she’s such a great person both inside and out. Her hard work and attention to detail made finding the right apartment in the right location easy. She’s one of the most diligently communicative professionals I’ve ever worked with and knew what I needed before I did.I’ve thoroughly enjoyed living here at Pinewood Gardens so far, parking isn’t a problem and my neighbors are quite just like me so it’s a perfect fit. The apartment is very modern and spacious. The maintenance staff are quick to respond to any issues you may have, they’ve gone above and beyond anytime that I’ve needed something done.Carolyn’s expertise, wisdom, and guidance along the way, definitely earns her a referral from me if someone I know is looking for an apartment. You’ve made this whole process an enjoyable experience and I can see myself living here for many years to come, thank you.

If I could rate this place a 0 star, I would. I’ve experienced every negative thing under the sun at this place. It started with one of our vehicles getting broken into then my cat killed a mouse, bathroom flooding multiple times a month due to sewage problems, dishwasher broken without proper repair, and spiders…THEN I move to a new unit on the opposite end of the complex to find A/C leaks that caused severe water damage to the dining area which ruined a lot of my personal belongings, the bathroom is consistently clogged (both the toilet and tub) which maintenance will just tell you that it’s due to old plumbing, and the WORST of all…the kitchen. The kitchen is infested with roaches and sink has flooded our kitchen 4 times now. The roach infestation is the worst part of this place, they’ve exterminated multiple times and they keep coming back…due to old plumbing is what maintenance will tell you.I’ve never felt the need to write a review until now, this place is inhabitable and the health department/ city needs to shut it down.

I called to inquire about a 2 bedroom apartment. I had the pleasure of speaking with Casonya. She was a pure joy to speak with. She was extremely courteous and professional. Casonya answered all of my questions and even offered to set an appointment to view the property in person. I told her I’d call back once I have my new work schedule. Thank you for the awesome customer service Casonya. You were so exceptional I wanted to leave a review. I hope your leadership team sees this. You’re truly an asset to their company.

They deleted my review on their man page DONT TRUST THEM MAINLY CASONYA. What they don't wanna tell you is after they get your holding fee after 72hrs they will not give it back to you if your not satisfied. Take that $250 holding fee and get your leasing consultant CASONYA better training because perhaps her head was too dry when she lied and said I could get my holding fee back if I wasnt satisfied. I wouldn't recommend them or their ROACHES. They deleted my original review on their main page but like I said get her some better training playing with my money!!!!ney hungry liars don't trust ANY OF THEM! Scammers And as far as your response your leasing consultant Casonya needs better training and comprehension skills because apparently she doesn't listen to potential residents and again I'm glad I decided to cancel because she is a habitual LIAR LIKE I SAID!

If i could give zero stars I would. please dont let the fake high pitch voices and smiles fool you. the leasing office ladies are only nice to get you in, after that they're RUDE and act like they hate their job. they are not military friendly so if youre going on deployment like i was, dont live here! they will F you over the whole time youre gone instead of helping you even tho you tried to communicate with them. rent prices and fees are very deceiving. they change very often, and by that i mean they sky rocket up with the explanation of "well its summer so" that was told to me by manager Melanie :) i took over someones apartment for them, since they no longer wanted it after they stopped paying their rent, so ofcourse that all went on me, fine but when trying to work out some sort of resolution between paper work/renewing a lease and all the fees that were now on me, the manager MELANIE was absolutely horrible and decided to tell me she didnt want to renew the lease anymore after i already took it over for the previous person along with her fees left behind. it took 9 months for her to finish the paper work needed to take the person off the lease, and like i said, after that she wouldnt renew the lease lol her explanation for that was "i dont need to give you a reason" this place is a joke. anyway, me and my family are happily in a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath HOUSE now for LESS than the rent you will pay at pinewood. i promise you, there are plenty of nicer, more spacious places to rent than this place. save yourself the headache of dealing with this place. its not worth it, especially if youre military with a family. Maintenance however is 5 stars, always come fast, very very nice and friendly. so thank you maintenance team for being the only good part of living there during my time there. and please MS. pinewood manager dont even bother replying to this review with some bogus fake professional response to try to redeem yourself lol ive been telling everyone to STEER CLEAR. this is the WORST place ive ever rented from. Im from NY and i can honestly say even NY apartment landlords were better than Melanie and that says alot. like i said there are plenty of places to rent from, dont even bother with this place. oh and be aware of your CARS, too many incidents with my cars being hit AND my husbands car was actually stolen. there is a police report. but im also not the only person with this issue here. cars are NOT safe. hope im saving some people with this review.
