Just order from Amazon, this place is terrible! The manager asked me to come speak with her about a certain situation and I get there and she you won't even come out! They've been wasting my time for the same situation I've made about four visits and it's all about customer service

No price matching. Bit of a wait to be seen by the cashier. There were two cashiers- the manager and a new employee. The people in front of me received a "10% manager's discount" because of their "wait time" by the manager, I went to the new employee after those people because he was next available, and did not receive a discount for waiting. I did ask... hah... I even left after them (the new employee did not know what he was doing and the manager was snapping). They did not have the access code that I needed and they almost sold me the wrong one. The whole process was confusing, stressful, and disorganized. (Guy upstairs- I think his name is Jon or something, was very helpful and got me what I needed). I love ODU, but this is depressing. I recommend being consistent, communicating more, and informing your employees of the policy because at first the new employee told me they can price match and then the manager said no we can't.

Not a bad place when it comes to picking out books. I most especially love how friendly these guys are. It only takes me around ten minutes to get in and grab a new read. Best shop in town.

Even though I'm 10 years separated from my students days at ODU, this bookstore is way better than the bookstore I had. Now that I think about it, I haven't really noticed any books in this store! Well, that's because I go there to shop for ODU shirts, hoodies, and fleeces and all that is located on the first floor. (Strategically placed there for folks like me who are walking to the stadium on game day and we have to but a bunch of ODU stuff to represent.) The books and all the other goodies you'll need for school is on the second level. I accidentally came across that section once, when searching for a restroom. So if you're too cool for school, don't even bother going up the escalator. Spend your time downstairs buying all the ODU clothes and swag that you want. It's not like you can go to Target and find a bunch of cool ODU stuff there. Normally, their shelves are full of Redskins crap so going to this bookstore is your best bet if you're looking to sport some cool ODU gear. Just about anything you would want for your house that says ODU on it, it's sold there.
