I cannot say enough good things about this organization and the people working there. They are hard working, dedicated and communicative. They will never know how much they helped.

I like going here even when I am not adopting a pet. We got our second boy (Siberian Husky Mix)from here and the way they handled intro was great, we brought our Oldest boy to meet his new brother, and the ease of introducing them was perfect. They took the husky in the pen and let the boys meet through the fencing first then gradually let them into the same pen/yard and we let them sniff for a bit and then the boy have been together ever since. Also the coupons when adopting and all the information was very helpful and a happy unexpected gift. When the time comes we would definitely consider adopting from here again

Best experience ever. And the adoption fee is very reasonable. They truly care for the animals under their care. And that is why puppy #2 is coming home soon.

I adopted a 1 year old cat. The staff answered all my questions and was very helpful. I could see that Clover received lots of attention, she’s very affectionate and healthy too

The gentleman at the front was very nice and inviting. He explain the process and told us to go check out the dogs. After going and looking at a few of the dogs, I saw one that was cute so I lean down to talk to her to see her reaction. I reached out to see, if she would come to the door. (Note I didn't get near the bars at all.) Knowing, as an adult, that I shouldn't reach in the kennel. A lady yelled at me from across the room and said don't put your hands in the kennel." I said I wasn't putting my hand in or on the bars. then she proceeded to yell "any where near them." She has no customer service skills. An easy "please don't" would have sufficed. Also note there is not one sign that says that at all. Not coming back here. The attitude was uneeded and unwarranted.

So personally, I would rate this, SPCA, a two of five stars. And the reason for that is because I don't like the way that the animals are treated, at least to my eye and what I see.I've been in there a few times and there animals always have gone to the bathroom on themselves in the cages and it's never picked up even by the time I leave this is specifically the dogs. There is volunteers and workers walking around the area so they know that the issue is there. The other problem I have is the associates. While I was trying to adopt a kitten or cat to bring home, there was one lady that was super nice through most of my visit and then it seemed like they traded places or maybe it was a shift change, and then the other lady would just get mad that I would touch the cats even though that the other lady said I was fine to do so. almost in a manner that she would talk to you like you're stupid. If you do, I would definitely say adopt. Because you would be getting those poor animals out of a horrible situation in that place.
