Had a shortage of employee, and they were closing a hour earlier, however they opened the door and were as helpful and as nice as could be. We got everything we needed, and they told us how to get a ramp built through the VA systen. Awesome, thank you very much nice ladies!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Norfolk location. Every person I dealt with went out of their way to help make sure my mom had the equipment she needed on short notice. Thank you!!

Pam, the short lady, is amazing. She seems to know where everything is in the store. Not only that she seems to know how to work every little random thing possible. Also, she’s really sweet. Great to meet someone who still has such great customer service. She really made my day.

Deserves 0 stars. Ordered a tub bar for infirm relative. Was called a couple of weeks later saying "backordered, but we have another one to send that is more expensive but we won't charge you extra". I agreed as it had already been a couple of weeks since ordering. It came in a package that had several layers of tape, obviously had been returned before. We made arrangements with the relative at a time convenient to her. The item had a part that had come unglued, so we fixed it, before trying on her tub. It didn't fit. Med Emporium ignored my email to them, and won't take returns that have been opened (it already had been when we got it), nor after 3 days of delivery!! BUYER BEWARE. Money lost and lesson learned.

I purchased a seated walker for $299 out of pocket. In 2 weeks, the brak E broke so I went in asked the repair man to order two. About 2 weeks out. I stopped by to see if the parts were in -- I was told that walker is discontinued and they cannot get parts. A $299 walker discontinued, I spoke with the manager who said they don't get notifications, justice car dealerships .WHAT. CAR DEALERSHIPS RECALL PARTS ALL THE TIME. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO A GREEDY STORE INTERESTED IN THEIR BOTTOM LINE AND NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I think it's crazy that you have to have a prescription for a incentive spirometer esp when we suffering from COVID and have no insurance but this would help out.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but this will have to do. I went in here the other day looking for bathroom equipment for a parent whose immune system is severely compromised. The woman working the sales floor was not wearing a face mask! This is a store whose entire clientele is at high risk for COVID-19, and she's not wearing a mask! I mentioned this to another employee who said "oh, she has a medical condition, she can't wear a mask," which is total BS. It's not like the virus can tell she has a condition and will therefore decline to infect her or spread itself to others- and any medical condition that is so precarious that one can't wear a face mask also makes the "patient" susceptible to the virus. If she's so sick she can't wear a mask, she shouldn't be in public at all. This is pure selfishness and highly irresponsible to your customer base.
