I'm also one of those people who rarely posts reviews, but since I feel incredibly comfortable with this place I have an obligation to review it. Well, in addition to being in a great location in Norfolk, the team of professionals at Impressions are extraordinary. Without exception, everyone is charismatic, and fun, they have an energizing vibe. At some point during the service you will laugh... they seem like a family and we, the customers, feel welcome. Gracelyn is wonderful, always saving my hair. She asks what I want to do and if I have any doubts I'll say whatever you do, I trust you! because in fact, she is great!!!
The atmosphere in the room is excellent, always with good music and friendly, fun professionals. Stop by and check it out! There is no way not to return.

I have not been going to Impressions for very long - but am quite impressed with Randy. He is knowledgeable and patient. He is an experienced colorist and delivers a great haircut. I definitely plan to continue seeking Randy's advice in the future.

Amazing service! Randy and the gals are so sweet, the vibe here is so cute and fun, and the staff always keep it light and fun. Happy, laughing, having a great time. Randy gave me the best cut, even gave me free product for some fly aways and snacks in the chair. Above and beyond

I had a good haircut here (I think with Patty?) and left feeling nice. So when I was looking for somewhere to take my young son, I called and was booked with Randy. From the moment we walked in, there was a bad vibe indicating he was overbooked and didn't want to cut a kid's hair. He asked if my son would behave and throughout the cut kept saying he expected a meltdown at any moment, despite my son's good behavior. The haircut wasn't what I asked for but I didn't want to stay. I will not be going back for my own haircuts again.Services: Kids' cuts

Impressions is an outstanding salon!!! The staff and stylists are really friendly, highly professional, and offer expert advice based on the individual. I have worked with Teresa (owner) and Gracelyn for color and cut. By far the best I've had since moving to Hampton Roads in 2016. Unfortunately, this small business has been victim to an organized, online assault for the better part of a year by fake accounts who are acting arbitrarily from an online "influencer" video. In his effort to creat "content" for money, this influencer unjustifiably maligned the business and its employees for selfish financial gain. Take it from someone who has actually interacted with these folks and sat for hours in their chairs. This salon is worth the visit!
