I was awaiting a flight and wandered into Hudson News and was immediately greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello from Ayla the attendant. She was extremely helpful, courteous and personable. I was dealing with a family emergency and trying to get back home as quickly as possible and was so grateful for her warmth and supportive nature. I highly recommend stopping by and hoping you have the good fortune to interact with such a wonderful soul as Ayla.

I went to the Hudson news that is as soon as you leave TSA. I refused to do self check out and the clerk took my items and told me to go to another store. Absolutely horrible! Do yourself a favor and go to the next location. Very nice and helpful clerks.

I came hear a couple weeks ago absolutely panicked over my dead phone that would not seem to charge after it had died overnight. After struggling to get it to charge all morning, the cashier Tanya was able to help me get it charged a little before heading onto my flight. She saved me from having to get a new one! After she revived my phone I bought a charger that I have been using since that seems to be much better quality than what I had before. Thanks Tanya!

I pretty much always stop here when flying out of ORF to get some snacks to take with me on the plane. Usually, I grab one of their pre-made wraps or sandwiches which are actually very good - priced between $10-15 they aren't the most expensive to-go sandwiches you'll get and they aren't soggy and gross. They're consistently great when I eat them 2-3 hours later on a flight. Drinks and chips/snacks are pricey but it's the airport. The addition of their self checkout kiosks has been wonderful.

I went to this store in concourse B a few minutes before catching my flight. Mind you I’m a regular flyer and have never had this happen to me ANYWHERE and always show respect to all airport employees at all times. The Asian woman that was working decided to make it her duty to watch me, a Black woman, check out after one item didn’t scan correctly due to a prompt popping up regarding using points/rewards instead of processing the item I scanned. I repeatedly informed her I didn’t need to be watched and am fully capable of paying for my items, but she was very rude and insisted on standing there and making me uncomfortable as I checked out. This was in concourse B by gate 27 in ORF

Stopped her to pick up some sundries. The lady at the front was very curt and more intent on continuing her conversation with her friend about her family drama than attending to the customers. SMH.

Can’t believe how rude the cashier was to me. I was looking at what they had in there store like what customers do and she told me to stand over there Sir.?What is that? I said no that’s fine and she told me “then see you later” and people in the store laughed. Insane.

I typically am too rushed to even check-in, however I do hit them up frequently for a bottle water. They have improved and expanded since the remodel a few years back. Now offering more merchandise and some cool local items like Norfolk and Virginia Beach jackets. Customer service is spotty, but since it's more often friendly will give the benefit. 3.5 rounding up.

Asked for extra mayonnaise after buying two sandwiches and lady told me nope I running low. Now idk we are in a pandemic or not but customers denied extra Mayo cmon guys. Bad bad bad customer service.
