I was at this booth at the Virginia state fair with my friend and we reached for squash mellow and she came up to us saying "do you need know the price" and we said nicely no we just wanted to see it she kept repeating herself in a rude tone and I said "what" she got in my friends face, raised her voice and said do you need help and we said no. she walked a couple feet away and began to just watch us. A man came over to where we were and said nicely do you need help and we said no thank you and then just stood there acting like he was looking at things but walked away as soon as we left the section. We went across the booth to another section to see if she was really watching us and she still followed us and kept watching us as we looked at air fresheners and then I asked excuse me do you need something and she kept saying we need to leave and put her hand on my friends arm leaning over her to say that and I said we're not even doing anything we literally just touched a stuffed animal and she said no your trying to steal and we kept going back and forth when another woman worker came and said you need to leave now I own this business and we left and as we sat at the bench next to the booth we saw people touching things and taking them off shelves to look at them (the exact thing we did) and the workers saw them and did nothing.

If I could give Holly a negative 100 I would. I visited this place today and quite frankly Holly should be ashamed and embarrassed of herself, and her husband. Of all the years I have visited the state fair I never would have thought I would be accused of stealing! Story: I'm shopping, it's a tight space, it's crowded. My husband had a huge double stroller with our two kids in it, it couldn't fit and well I hung the shirts on the stroller as it was very busy and I didn't want to lose the sizes. He did not realize I put them there distracted by the kids, but as I continued to go look he started to walk off due to attending to the children and looking around in the pavilion and had not noticed that I had hung the shirts there. As I'm calling him as he walking away to come back so I could get the shirts. The man which I assume is Hollys husband swiftly went over and grabbed the shirts, but said nothing when grabbing as if my husband was stealing. I watched as this all went down as I'm calling my husbands name to come back. When the owner took the shirts and I then approached him and told him that I was purchasing that and that I was calling my husbands name because he had not realized I put the shirts there... I then asked the owner why he couldn't have just stopped to ask what he was doing as a professional business owner. He gave me the shirts and then allowed me to purchase but get this... enters the wife Holly which I assume is the owner... buts she comes over and tells him he does not have to talk to me and gets real nasty with me as I'm purchasing the shirts that they so happened to ring up incorrectly probably because the person ringing up the shirts was so baffled and confused as to what was occurring (which I don't blame her). I then questioned her why it was incorrectly rang up on it nicely after she pissed me off and she gets nasty yet again and says "well if you hadn't been running your mouth then she would not have rang it up wrong" so I asked for my money back after she gave me that remark and she did but I didn't leave without making it known that she was a rude mean and nasty old lady. Holly let me tell you, I had the right to stand up for myself and my husband. Don't you think for a second you are going to judge my BLACK husband and threatened to call the cops after I purchase the shirts I WANTED and all I wanted to simply do was RESPECTFULLY explain the situation to you and say that it could have been handled differently as a business owner. I work with customers on a daily basis, and I would never and I certainly would never misjudge a situation and then be rude. Thank you for you service Holly, but your business needs some changes, especially how you treat people, maybe even your own husband! I got to do exactly what I wanted at the state fair though thanks for your hospitality ma'am lol

When you have a question about something they message you back very quickly. They have great pricing during the live videos and not to mention they are so much fun to watch. Holly also does a lot of giveaways.

Not only was I followed around when I was doing my Christmas shopping (I am a 18 year old black girl), when I came back to return the sweaters I bought for my mom (because they didn't fit), the owner was not there. The store was completely closed down. I was only there a couple of weeks ago and couldn't even return my items. While the items there were very nice, the clothing and apparel wasn't very true to size. Be warned if this store ever pops back up again.

I for one seek out small business owners to do my holiday shopping and the ladies at Holly's Kollections are the real deal. Seeing the negative comments about this business can't be any further from the truth. Take it from me as a chairman of your local chamber of commerce and business devlopment professional. This is a fantastic business and true jewel of MacArthur Center. Happy Holidays new friends and to a prosperous new year.

I was in the store tonight with my husband and two children, 5 and 8 years old. My kids (in my opinion) were actually behaving considering the usual. I simply was Christmas shopping and as soon as we walked in, my daughter picked up a bell and started ringing it and an older lady with shoulder length blonde hair ( I hope not the owner) came up to her and grabbed it and said “I’ll take that,” I thought that was kind of rude but I was ok with it. The remainder of our time in the store, my husband noticed she was following my kids around the store as they and my husband followed me trying to shop. I still saw no issues with my kids, my son got an ornament for his bus driver I told him he could get and my daughter was simply being a normal 5 year old, NOTHING CRAZY. I was almost done shopping and had a few things in my hand when my daughter, in front of my husband, walked into a shirt rack just to be funny and before my husband could tell her to get out the lady interjects herself (as if we weren’t parenting appropriately) and proceeds to tell her to stop climbing on the rack. At this point I lost it, I put the items I selected down and told my family it was time to go and she says “yea that’s probably a good idea.” I admit, I did call her a choice word at which she said “you are too,” She proceeds to grab the ornament from my son that he picked out for his bus driver and says “I’ll take my reindeer back, thank you.” As we walked out she says “we need to take better care of our children.”
