Request refill, walk into the store, get it, pay for it and be on your way in a couple minutes. So glad I switched from the awful Walgreens in Ghent.

Love this pharmacy! I work nearby, so it's so helpful to be able to run in there to buy household/personal care items I may need but don't have the time or energy to go to Walmart or something after work!The owner is really nice too!I do wish they had a little bit more of a canned-good/frozen food selection, but I understand that they're working with limited space.I was very pleasantly surprised to see how many household maintenance/cleaning products they carry, some of which I can't find very easily at bigger name-brand stores!Highly recommend this place for quick errand trips; Advil; snacks; and more!

I tried to support a local business but I think I just have to move to a chain. Their atm doesn’t function and they don’t update their hours. It’s so difficult to pick up a prescription, you try to keep your neighborhood place in business but they’re literally pointing at the closed sign to return the favor.

I am so happy that this is our new pharmacy and no longer CVS or Walgreens. Get this, when I called, a HUMAN answered after a few rings and when I went there, it was so smooth to get my prescription. I received text alerts once it was ready and the staff are friendly. They also allowed my dog inside which was really convenient to pick it up and leave.

Visiting from out of town and needed a prescription. It was easy peasy and the people were very friendly and helpful. When I called to tell them to expect it the woman said "thanks, I'll text you when it is ready". Loved that.

Nice pharmacy, should really consider opening up on Sundays for locals. Sundays are when many people that live in the area are off. Since this is the only location close to anyone in the area of its kind. It would be super convenient for many as well as a good business day for the store itself.

Love this neighborhood gem I just discovered- not only do they have friendly service but they sell a little bit of everything like a little bodega would in NY. Great pharmacy staff they helped me with my prescriptions and I was able to buy paper towels / dish soap ect little things I could carry on foot without having to drive to a bigger store.

Friendly downtown pharmacy with all the basics you might need. Convenient for those of us who live downtown but don't want to drive. Fast service for filling prescriptions. Recommended!

This pharmacy is outstanding! We were on a cruise in port and had an issue, these employees could not be more helpful. Friendly greeting, when asked for help could not be better, excellent guidance, got what we needed in time to head to port. They truly went above and beyond in every way to help us. I can not recommend this pharmacy more! Thank you Mac Arthur Pharmacy you saved our vacation!

The staff here are amazing. It can get a little busy but that is because it is in a great location. Not too far from the Governor School of the Arts, plenty of businesses, restaurants, and Tidewater Community College.

Love Dave and Chris! They are always so helpful and kind, such great customer service! The female pharmacist could learn a thing or two from the owners about how to treat her customers. 5 stars for Dave and Chris though!

Less than a few days ago I went into the Macarthur Pharmacy in Norfolk Virginia for a few items (the one on Granby where I picked up some raspberry chapstick some picks etc.). The employees I interacted with were polite.
