Good service during the day, but night shift is completely different. I've had trouble getting any kind of assistance when I visit after dark, especially at self check out: like when the register locks until an employee clears it when you don't have a VIC membership or wheb alcohol is purchased. Tonight was no different. The young lady working self check out clearly wanted to be anywhere else, was completely silent the two times the register locked up, and I had to get her attention both times.
It would be nice to be helped out in the evening by folks who actually want the job they have, or at least aren't visibly annoyed about being at work. Harris Teeters prices are way too high for this kind of behavior/treatment.

Recently I came to Ocean View and used the Harris Teeter on the waterfront. I was buying Deli sandwiches for the Air Show. The service at the Deli Department was good for a day. There was one exceptional worker, who went over and beyond her duties. I stood at the Counter for about ten minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When they did it was through head signals. Addressed the Manager who was as incompetent as his staff. I told you Daniel you would hear from me again. I served in the Army not to be treated this way. Will notify your corporate office. Do better!

So I go there to buy my weekly $200 of groceries. Zero shopping carts are available but at least 2 dozen of them are scattered about the parking lot. So with no shopping cart, I bought $20 of groceries. This is a convenience store, not a grocery store. The store employees gave bs excuses about why no carts. I will be happy to see this location close in that I have to go to Food Lion, 5 miles away, in order to fill my fridge.

The cashiers are mostly friendly and nice. But there are two men who have uniforms on and stand in the meat and seafood counter. I cannot in good conscious call what they do work. One is ALWAYS talking to someone while that person is trying to work. And the other is annoyed anytime I go to the counter. Maybe he got beef with me personally. I don't mind the prices food is expensive everywhere. It's a convenient location, not as nice as the Ghent location but OK. Just. LAWD, can y'all make those lazy men in the back work?

Very disorganized, i went through 4 interview process with different people. And none of them communicated to each other. I wasted my gas on several occasions just to not get a call back. I had to call back and notify them but even when i did. I never got a follow up. Their interview process is so messed up its not even funny. I highly suggest new management for this area.

Clean store with good variety, and above-average bakery and fresh options. HT skimps however in the customer service department. You can ALWAYS expect there to be NO, or at most 1 lane open for check-out. Otherwise, you’re going to be scanning and bagging each and every one of your items yourself while their staff look on.

The manager of the store is very rude you can tell she doesn't want to be there. She isn't any help and is not a pleasant person at all. The store itself is very small the selection is not great not going back

My Bank account was hacked at Harris Teeter in Oceanview gave the approximate time and date the manager Thomas stated that all cameras were down at the time of the theft to bad attitude summary of my experience in Ocean View Harris Teeter still have to stop there but got no trust in their SECURITY.

This location is near the Ocean View beach, perfect for last minute run ins. They offer hot rotisserie chicken and a full salad bar around lunch. There is plenty of parking and lots of registers to check out. The lines are never long.

Beware of their bait and switch tactics especially in the produce section. They will put a sale price item without a distinguishable divide right next to an expensive version of the same type of item. The sale price will be very viewable, the higher priced item's price not so viewable. See their 99 cent peaches this week as you walk in the store. Mixed in right next to these peaches are the $ 3.99 peaches.
