I’ve taken my dogs here for several months now. I never any problems or issues with the care provided at this facility. Staff are very nice and attentive & they take time to truly examine the patients. I would refer to any of my friends or family ??

I’ve been coming to Ghent Vet for a little over 2 years now, and I’m sad to move because all I can hope for is to find a vet as wonderful as they have been. They’re professional, respectful, and you can tell they really care about the animals. The complimentary coffee helps too lol

Best Vet in the 757! We have been taking our dog there for about 3 years now. They are a 'fear free' vet so they let us schedule a play date where we just showed up and they gave our dog treats. He now associates the vet with treats, which makes it a lot easier to take him in for his shots or check ups! Great staff and great location to serve the greater downtown area!

Everyone at Ghent Vet is great to work with, and they go out of their way to make each visit as stress free as possible for both you and your animals. Highly recommended for someone new to the area or looking for an alternative to their current vet.

I’ve been taking my two corgis to Ghent Vet for several years and they are fantastic. They are Fear Free certified which means their goal is to provide a stress free appointment for your pet. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Ghent Vet is the best vet clinic in the Hampton Roads area.

Being new to the area, my dog and I have very much appreciated Ghent vet. She can be shy, and doing happy vet visits helped her be comfortable with the environment before coming in for a blood draw. Both in our initial visit and during the blood draw/vet visit today, vet techs, vet assistants, and the vets have all been kind and patient with her. She didn’t even squirm or tremble during the blood draw as they gave her that confidence. I’m so grateful to a practice that sets clients’ dogs up for fear free success at the vet.

I had a wonderful experience here! Dr Coplen and the rest of the staff at Ghent Veterinary were so professional and sweet, and I appreciate the time they took to answer my questions about ongoing care and preventative treatments for my cat, Lassie :)

I highly recommend Ghent Vet! I have a very skittish rescue dog, who normally gets aggressive when handled. The staff was very attentive to him, gentle and patient, and he got all of his vaccinations without so much as a snarl! Reasonable prices as well!

Dr Coplen and the rest of the staff at Ghent Vet were so sweet and professional. I appreciate them taking the time to answer my many questions about plans of care for my cat, and we were seen promptly at our appointment, will be happily visiting again for future vet needs!
