I don't really leave reviews for a store like GameStop but I had an amazing customer experience - thanks Sam! I called because the GameStop on 21st street was closed almost and hour earlier than their closing time. Talking with Sam, he was surprised the store was closed but ensured me that he'd be open. I walked inside, store was clean, everything was organized, and Sam helped me right away - walked with me in the store and made sure I got everything I needed. He could tell I was military and gave the discount right as I was asking. As a active duty officer, it's the little things like that + overall customer experience that make your day run a little more smoothly. Because of Sam, I will definitely be using THIS GameStop, even though I live closer to their other.

This is my first experience buying something at a Game Stop. It will definitely be my last. (There are plenty of places to buy video game stuff.) After a while asking questions last night I bought a Nintendo Switch for my kids, along with a screen protector and two used video games for it. Chase answered questions for a while and was helpful enough; he checked me out. This was about 30 minutes before they closed.I travel for work and was staying in a hotel nearby. The price for everything seemed high, but I didn't look at the receipt until I got back to the room. They had charged me twice for a $49.99 game! It was five minutes before closing, so I called half a dozen times trying to talk to someone about it, but nobody would answer. By 6 AM the following morning I was in the air on my way to Atlanta.I called the next day and spoke to someone about this. Since it was just yesterday Chase would definitely remember talking to me, and I'm pretty sure he'd rember that I'd only bought one of each Switch game. I spoke with someone else. She told me they would not do anything about this unless I went into the store in person. That's clearly not an option - I'm in Michigan right now.Not only did they make the mistake of charging me twice in the first place, they wouldn't even bother to look into this for me when I called the next day. Now I need to deal with having my credit card company reimburse me for the fraudulent / erroneous charge.Everyone makes mistakes. It's how they handle those mistakes that matters. Bad store, bad company. I'll be buying used games on Facebook marketplace from now on, and new games ANYWHERE else. Buyer beware.

Came in just to browse PS4 games, and I asked about Xbox 360 games. The guy working showed us their tiny collection, and when I told him I had most of them, he recommended another little shop to us for 360 and GameCube games. Super nice customer service!

I kept hearing that people were getting rich with game stop, so I went in to the store to get rich as well. I was upset to find that they wanted me to spend money on things. I kept yelling "stonks" but I didn't get rich at all. I did get some used GameCube games for really cheap though. So I guess you can say I got rich in a different way. Plus, with all the beenie babies I have, I'm basically rich anyway.

Guy traded my daughter's game AFTER SHE ASKED HIM do she need wifi. Instead of him saying he don't know or ask someone with the knowledge he told her that she didn't. She got game home and she did need wifi. GET THAT SKINNY, YOUNG, BLACK GUY OUT!!
