When for all handkind first opened it was a nice store. It's probably the effect of the pandemic but the store feels empty now. The biggest problem is actually the owner. This store is not "busy" by any stretch so I get why she was scrolling on her phone. However, I feel like she glared at me, then ignored me because of my race, not because she was busy reading Yelp.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed making coasters together. I’m so happy that he surprised me with this. Kim was super nice and great at helping us out along the way. I will definitely do this again with my girlfriends because it’s something fun and new. I definitely recommend a visit.

For all Handkind is just my type of store - this has been founded back in 2016, but the location at MacArthur Center opened back in July of this year! This place features 72 artists who are mostly from the state of Virginia! There are hot sauces, felt kits, jewelry, accessories, candles, sprays, limited edition prints, and much more, where most items are handmade! The most wonderful thing is that there are over 35 different charities featured, where a certain percentage of your purchase goes to one - how neat is that?!The felt bouquet of flowers caught my eye from their display, so I knew I had to stop in!Ms. Jodie was present (@whataphotoholic), who was working on some calligraphy masterpieces; she was just super welcoming and friendly! Such a relaxed atmosphere where you can literally peruse at your leisure and have a pleasurable shopping experience!Don't forget to wander towards the back - you can see some of the featured artists' studios, where you can scope out works that are in progress and finished works on display. I was fortunate to stop by when one of the resident artists, Anjenette Renae, had her opening, 'Everyday Objects'! Really LOVED the 'Juicy Fruit' and the 'A Box of O's' paintings!I bought two handmade soaps for my collection - the Black Sea and the Black Raspberry Vanilla ones - they both smell absolutely DIVINE!!!I absolutely enjoyed my visit and look forward to many more when the hubs and I are in town!Located right around from Smoothie Mania on the 2nd floor, by Dillard's.+super friendly and welcoming staff!+featured local/resident artists and crafts!+various charities supported!+studios and gallery in the rear +located right around from Smoothie Mania on the 2nd floor

Cute shop that supports over 70 artists / small businesses! I love their glass blown holiday ornaments. They have lots of different items and it’s a fun shop to browse!

Beautiful store, unique concept, unfortunately was not acknowledged at all in the store! A Caucasian man entered and the lady spoke but she did not once acknowledge me, very disappointed.

What an unusual little shop. All the items are handmade. There are so many great items. Bought some embroidered masks, a necklace and a hand-blown glass pumpkin. Going back next week for a painting by a racoon for a birthday gift. Everything is so beautiful and surprisingly affordable. Fun place to shop. I'm going online to schedule one of their classes as well.

When I was in Virginia for my Navy schooling I stopped in to look around. I found these super cute knitted cat coasters. The lady working at that time was super helpful, very kind, and had a smile on her face the entire time. I love these cat coasters. I wish I could find a place like this in Mayport, FL where I'm stationed now. I love supporting small businesses and people who do handmade crafts for a living.
