Every time we go in there we get the rudest cashier. Even when we use self check out, something is wrong with them and it needs assistants. Whether the scales off, someone just left without a receipt or we are buying alcohol the cashiers can’t be bothered and even when you’re nice to them it’s a problem to be in that store. Rather pay the toll and got to Portsmouth to Food lion in London Blvd where people are nice and always helpful then have to deal with angry people at this location.

Good service and fair prices. The store is clean and the deli/baking counter is exceptionally clean. I've bought many things there.

Food Lion is food and a lion. I like it there. You can grocery shop and get food for home. That's how it works.

One of the worst experiences of my life here! I have never felt more embarrassed in my life! I had 3 workers ganging up on me because my shihpoo barked at a homeless man when he was walking close to one of my daughters, he is a service dog he picks up bad vibes from people. She had the nerve to tell me to have one of my younger children to take him outside, they are 11 and 10 I am not having them wait outside when the area isn't a good area. Then she says to take him out of the basket and because i didnt she wanted to cancel my order as i was paying, talk about embarrassing in front of the whole store I have gone to this store for years and never had an issues. Another african american lady had her dog in the basket and didnt say anything let her walk on by, but me being white I got treated like shit. I hope all 3 of them lose there jobs getting in peoples face like she did.
