“I went to Old Time Pottery and everything was 30-75% off. I got tons of awesome stuff for next to nothing. They had lots of florals, Xmas decorations , home decor galore and very nice quality. Unfortunately I found out it’s been sold to Gabe’s and as I have a Gabe’s near my house now I’m afraid it will turn into just a dump.”
“I was in the store for a couple of hours. They had all kinds of new things to look at from furniture, rugs, plus much more. The prices are great.I found a lot that l was interested in and chose to purchase. The cashier was friendly and checked me out quickly. Overall, the experience was definitely a 10 plus.”
“At first I was upset they made me park my bike outside the store. As I respectfully let it be known, the manager kept a cool head and in the end as I walked out, we bith nodded in agreement with mutual respect. Something to be said as far a good manager.”

“I have been to Family Dollar located at 2010 Cromwell Road in the heart of Norfolk on several occasions. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The store is clean and well organized. They have a great selection of items for sale and the staff can be counted upon to answer any questions that you might have and they will offer suggestions if you are on the fence about which products will work best for your individual needs. If you are looking for value priced goods (and who isn't in this day and age) stop by Family Dollar, you will be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting local business!”
“This is by far my favorite Dollar Tree! It is close to my house and they are usually well stocked. Unfortunately, as I drove away today, I was thinking about where I might find another favorite Dollar Tree. 9 out of 10 visits include some guy or gal standing outside the door asking for money as you leave.”
“I have been going to the Union Mission Thrift since it was on Granby Street. I love this store & even though I need nothing in my small home I love to go there & find things. Recently one of the employees also named Linda left & moved to the Carolinas. She will be missed. Everyone who works there is very nice & helpful. Saturdays the sale is everything 1/2 price except for new or grocery items. I truly miss the Warehouse sale that was held once a month before Covid. I found some real bargains there & I wish they would bring it back.”
“To the General Manager... The guy closing the store on August 2 2023 deserves a raise. Today is my second day in Virginia and i had to buy something extremely important to me and i thought you guys closed at 10. I got there and the guy met me at the door and asked me if i wanted to come in and he said "one minute' meaning he was willing to let me get what i needed before he closed. No other store or employee in my 44 years of life has done anything like this. going above and beyond to do his job and still have a great attitude about his job and towards custmers he dont even know. So, yes, This employee you have right now deserves recognition and im not talking about a simple thank you for being a Dollar General family member or a pizza party... He deserves a raise. Employees this good are seriously and extremely hard to find and you should let him know how thankful you are for having him on board.”
“Really clean super surprised. Ive been in some struggling stores. Poor lady at register looked so tired but was still nice. I liked the mix of the family dollar dollar store mix but then started to feel like I was in a cramed big lots. Over all was 9 out of 10”

“This store is really close to the Shore Drive end of Little Creek Rd. The store is always clean and never cluttered. The one lady is there consistently, is very nice and positive. I stop in to purchase my cleaning supplies often. I always feel very safe here.”
“It's a decent Dollar Tree here at the Ward's Corner location. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Dollar Tree has an assortment of products that you could find at any grocery store but for a lot cheaper! For you label whores, they do have a lot more popular name brand products than they used to a few years ago. This location also has a decent sized frozen food selection. The parking is ok and can be a little frustrating. Today was my first time coming to this location and walking right up to the cashier to check out! Normally, this location is packed and the lines to check out are usually slow. Depending on the staffing, they sometimes have 2 cashiers working the lines to get people checked out.”

“Omg! This place has taken on a total remodel and it looks great! I couldn't believe the cleanliness and neatness of this place. The last time I came here was few years ago and it was PITIFUL, FILTHY, DIRTY, RUN DOWN AND GHETTO! I refused to return here due to the state it was in. This is a major improvement considering the area it's located in. Unfortunately,there is always that one worker who still shows GHETTO mentality and is PITIFUL/SLOW on the register!”

“7/25/21: I stopped by to pick up a few things. I've never been to this location before. There is a small parking lot & it's off of a busy street. The store was somewhat tidy & clean, but there were boxes everywhere which made it hard to maneuver with a rolling shopping cart. They had everything you could want almost. They didn't have a lot of the candy I was looking for. They have a frozen food section, refrigerated section, snacks, home goods, etc. The prices are decent as well. The cashier was ok. He wasn't the friendliest but wasn't mean either. He was the only staff member I saw in there the entire time. I was in and out with my things & on my way. I would definitely go back.”
“I like to go in here and get a lot of essentials that I can't get elsewhere at a good price. One thing that I always know I can get here is tuna fish in oil and it's always at a great price. They usually always have cilantro on hand as well.”

“Good store, but the lady with the red hair on the cash registers are so worried about people stealing that she is basically putting other peoples lives at risk escalating the situation by screaming, watch the guy in the black coat, turn on all the cameras. Nothing in that store is worth more than $1.25 but my life is definitely worth more than $1.25. You’ll need to fire that woman or put a muzzle on her mouth because I am not gonna get killed and some store because of her trying to protect some merchandise that cost $1.25 That she doesn’t even own, and she’s not even making a living wage, so why does she care?”
