This will be the last time I’m getting my prescription filled at this location. I got a text this morning saying they would have my prescription ready around almost 12. Then when I check the status, it was delayed so I was like okay. After almost all day, I was only able to get one of my prescription because they were understaffed and now I have to suffer because of them not having enough techs. That is unacceptable

The staff in the pharmacy is pleasant and courteous. I suspect they are understaffed. I normally allow 30 minutes of standing in line to pick up a prescription that is ready. The drive thru has been closed for several weeks. I was by one of the staff that it was closed because of staff shortage. I like the location and the people, but the inefficiency is forcing me to explore other options.

This location really does need to hire more staff in the pharmacy. They went from being open all the time to hardly being open and always having the longest lines backed down the aisles with no drive thru open either.I also have the same experience as others about getting texts telling me my prescriptions are ready only to be told that they aren't ready but that "the system just sent that automatically." I'm sure someone is marking them as filled preemptively so they don't get dinged on preparation time.Disappointing. CVS corporate/district, you need to hire more pharmacists and pharmacy techs at this location. It's unacceptable.

The reviews are true! When I first went there, the meds were not ready for another 2 hours (even though we were notified that they were ready). One of my prescriptions took almost a month to get filled and when I called since it wasn't what I ordered, I was on hold for over 30 minutes and the call dropped. When I called again, I couldn't get a hold of anyone.CVS apparently has one of the highest turnover rates, and this location needs serious attention, and I assume more staff.

This place has gone just kept going downhill. I need to pick up my meds every one or two weeks as they are tightly controlled and have been coming here for a year, so I've been here a lot, and these past few months things have gotten atrocious. It's location is great which is why I've stuck with it so long, but I'm done coming here and it's time for me to find a new place to go. Without my meds I start going through withdrawals and I'm always out by the time my doctor puts in the next weeks script. I always go in the next day and they never have my prescription ready anymore. You stand in line for 30 minutes to an hour just to get them to start filling it, then 20, 30 minutes later you can actually get them. Getting my meds has turned into an hour or more long process each week, feels like I'm spending more time waiting here for meds than I spend in church each week!!The last straw for me is when they reduced the hours again, now they open after I go to work and by the time I commute back they'll already be closed, so I can only pick up on the weekends from 10-4. And they still never have my meds ready. The people here are nice enough I guess, but they don't care and are unable to fill meds in anything close to a timely manner. For me or anyone else. They'll ask you to come back right before close just to wait in the even longer lines just for them to put your meds in a bottle. If you fight it though you'll just wait another 30 minutes for them to do their job. It's a good trick if you need the meds then. I'd rather wait an hour once and get my meds at 1pm then wait 30+ minutes twice and maybe get my meds at 4. At least I'll actually get them! With how they're never ready, why ask me to come back right before close???? I don't trust this place enough for that knowing I wouldn't be able to come back all week! I won't be in danger without these meds like some reviewers, but I'm sure as hell uncomfortable as I wait withdrawaling. Since I can only pick up on the weekend, I need my meds when I come in!This place needs to get more people or else every single customer will move on to someplace else soon enough. Too bad it looks like Norfolk pharmacies in general are struggling to hire and fill meds. Considering they sell medication, this is just an unacceptable way to run a business. I'm tired and I'm frustrated, and I am more than willing to drive someplace else to know I can get my meds. A 15 minute drive with a 15 minute wait will be better than a 5 minute drive and an hour wait each time with indifferent service. Shortening the work hours so much was a huge mistake, get your act together! I'm used to better service at McDonald's.

If you have time to waste by all means use this pharmacy. Anoying text letting you know your rx is ready but not ready by the time you get there. Long slow line. Overall you can get medicine in Cuba a bit more faster and efficient.

The lines are completely too long and the drive thru is closed. I had to leave 3 days in a row because I couldn’t wait anymore.

I usually don't write reviews but I just had a HORRIBLE experience with this CVS. For some extremely odd reason they have now decided to close their pharmacy at 6pm. Knowing very well that most people don't get off of work until 5, 5:30, 6. I SPED through rush hour traffic and managed to make it at 5:50pm to be the last person in line. They handed me apiece of paper to state to others that I would be the last one they serviced. After waiting and waiting and waiting at 6:30pm they stated they cannot take anymore customers as their systems turn off at that time. IT WAS STILL 8 PEOPLE IN FROMT OF ME. The time management of this location is PISS POOR and they are really affecting peoples lives who need their medicine. While debating with angry customers who've waited over an hour, the manager stated that she told us all the store closes at 6 and that they had already chose a last person. BUT I WAS THE LAST PERSON. AND I DID NOT RECEIVE HELP. This CVS is not the way to go and I will be changing my refill location PROMPTLY. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR TIMES BACK TO 8PM. PEOPLE HAVE TO WORK AND THEY NEED THEIR MEDICINE!!!

Hire more staff to prepare prescriptions in a timely manner. I waited more than 36hrs to have my medications in hand. Lines were long, drive through was closed. Terrible experience. I need to switch pharmacies.

Dont get ur prescription here. Prescription called in wednesday, still not ready by friday. Theyre playing with other peoples lives. disgusting lack of empathy or regard for other people. Hope everyone who works in this pharmacy gets fired and never works in any form of health care ever again.

Just got turned away by the woman doing to drive thru pharmacy. She helped the car in front of us and then proceeded to tell us that she could not help us and we needed to go inside.
