Hire staff to meet customers needs in the pharmacy. Also train staff to have a welcoming attitude. I must note the cashier at the front end was very pleasant. She welcomed customers to the store upon entry. Very flat affect from the pharmacy staff. They kept me waiting with no one in line. BTY, since there weren't a lot of customers on this visit, why was the drive thru closed?

This is the WORST pharmacy ever! They’re always behind, short staffed, always out of stock, drive thru is hardly open & they NEVER answer the phone. This location needs to close down. The pharmacy service is horrendous! The front desk attendants in the retail section are polite and are welcoming. Other than that every experience is awful and a total waste of time.

Why make an appointment for a vaccine when the pharmacy has no intention of seeing you at that time? It's very frustrating to go to the trouble of making an appointment online and getting there on time only to stand and wait in line with a dozen others for 45 minutes to an hour before being seen.

Convenient place to get your updated vaccines. Just a small wait, & you could easily schedule on the app. They weren't friendly, but as long as they give the right vaccines correctly that's the only thing that really matters. The entrance is difficult to get into off the road too though, just be aware.

Probably the best CVS store in the area. The young lady with short blonde hair is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. All the employees I've delt with there this year have been great. Keep up the good work!

This is my current pharmacy of choice and it's great. Drive thru doesn't take too long and pharmacists are very polite and fast.

I can't explain how incompetent the person at the pharmacy was. They don't help you, they just give you more problems. I'm at the pharmacy because I'm sick, not because I want you to give me the run around all over town

Came here recently for a quick purchase. Wanted to use one of my extra care discounts. Jacob rang me up....I was the first time an associate didnt ask if I had a cvs/extracare card so to let him know I wanted to use it (I go to cvs religiously so this was odd but I assumed it was maybe a mistake at first/he just forgot). He rings my items up and hands me the receipt....didnt ask or bother to bag my stuff so I had to ask again...He really seemed like he didnt want to be there and just didnt give a you know what.....will definitely go to another cashier next time or self check out...

After refilling my sons Rx last night via phone service and trying to pick up the following morning at 11:30am to be told to wait 20mins, I promptly transferred all my families Rx's to Beach Pharmacy at the oceanfront. The service @ Beach Pharmacy is like family welcoming you home. Besides the "hurry up and wait" mentality that plagues this CVS location getting to and out of this parking lot is enough to make anyone mad when the pharmacy tech says please wait or return in 20mins to pickup. Phone service refills should be priority the following morning so patients can pick up promptly. I'm unsure if this location has any priorities.

This CVS Pharmacy is located at the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd. and Newtown Rd. It is just over on the Norfolk side. This is not a CVS I would normally go to as this is much further away than closer ones I go to normally. I visited this location twice, each for the same reason on March 23, 2021 and April 14, 2021.One of the things you'll notice right away is that there is road construction (or destruction) going on at that corner, so it was a bit of a crazy way to get in, as there were a lot of bumps coming in and out the entrance due to that. When you come inside, the layout is fairly similar to other CVS locations. The one annoying thing was this alarm thing that keeps going off at the door, whether people are coming in or not.The reason for each of my visits here was to receive the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. At that time, it was based on eligibility status and scheduling an appointment, but now, it's basically available to everyone everywhere now. My first shot was on March 23, 2021. The process was very smooth. After coming in, you follow the directions to the Covid-19 vaccine check in area at the pharmacy. Then, you get in line, but in my case, there was no line, so I was called right away. I didn't even realize they had put the needle in until after they told me they were done and gave me a Covid-19 vaccination card. Side effects for this first dose were fairly mild. The only real effect I had was a sore arm for about 3 days.Fast forward three weeks or so to April 14, 2021. I was back again this day for the second dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. The process was the same as last time, but I did make sure to bring my original vaccination card from the first shot. After checking in at the pharmacy, just like last time, there was no wait, so it didn't take long for me to get that second one. Just like the first time, I didn't even notice that they were done. Afterwards, I did hang around for about 15 minutes at their request to make sure no side effects and such. After that time was up, I headed home. The following day, I did get many of the effects of Covid-19 from that second shot. I was running a fever, having cold spells, and the feeling of a tractor trailer on top of me. However, by the time I got to the next morning after that, everything was normal. Fever gone, etc.Overall, I did have some good experiences with the staff that did the injections of the vaccine. In the end, I am glad that I did get it. If you live close to this area, I do recommend coming here to get those vaccinations and also get any other things you might need that CVS has to offer.
