Costco pharmacy is not only the cheapest place to fill my prescriptions but also the friendliest. The staff are all very kind and some, like Lisa and Rose at the Newport News VA location always go above and beyond and even remember your name. Now that's customer service!

My first experience with Costco was back home in Canada in the food court. They used to sell poutines dirt cheap because (a) it was back in the day and (b) it was in Canadian dollars LOL. I didn't have a membership then because I didn't have a business and I was single. We finally got a Costco membership when we were stationed in Hawaii, at out necessity and ever since, this relationship is going strong. I'm sure you know most of the benefits, but these are things I love about Costco: Executive Membership - the fee is a steep $120, but you get 2% cash back and most years, I almost make it all back rewards. If you don't want to dish out the $120, start with the basic and if you want to upgrade later on, I believe they will prorate it. Gas - as a general rule of thumb, they are usually the cheapest. If you shop there often like I do, I usually fill up there once a week. Kirkland Brand - I love their house brand and you'll usually find things like their TP, paper towels, seaweed, their liquor, EVOO, nuts (to name a few) in our cart. The unofficial word on the street is that their suppliers are usually the same well known brands, like vodka and Grey Goose (the bottles resemble each other). They source the best Asian products - Costo buyers know what's up! They have a great selection of Asian products. One thing we buy in bulk is their seaweed, the Kirkland brand. The biggest container filled with lots of sheets and the cheapest you will find! I hate that they have been running out lately and replace it with another brand that isn't the same in value and quantity. I've seen things like citrone (yu-ja - Korean citrus fruit) jam for tea, pear juice, boba mochi, instant noodle bowls, Bachan sauce etc. So many great products, from produce to meat, ready made meals, drinks, frozen products, spices in bulk. The list goes on. Samples - you can practically have a small meal making your rounds on a weekend day. That's how they also get ya. I don't know how many times I have bought an item because I sampled it first. Online shopping - if you order items in the grocery category, with a minimum order of $75, you can have it shipped for free. Other items like clothes or products, are usually free shipping. But beware, most items online are marked up, hence the free shipping. Food court - solid items. Who can beat their decent pizza for that size and price? But Dear Costo, can ya bring back the Supreme?! And have you had their newest item, the chocolate chip cookie? It the size of my kids' face. Only con is, there are only two Costos in the entire area. The one here in Norfolk is BUSY. ALL. THE. TIME. Like from opening til close. You can find the best stuff during the holidays too. One of the things I regret not getting is the darn Hexclad set when it was on sale during the holidays. The lowest I've ever seen it. Maybe this year.... One thing I have yet to take advantage of is Costco Travel! Enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!

This pharmacy is horrible. They have messed up prescriptions for me multiple times. Last time they didn't even mix the prescription before issuing it and we had to take it back. Thankfully, we realized their mistake before giving it to my kid. Today we went to the counter ordered a prescription came back 30 minutes later and got blamed for not telling them I'm staying in the store. It's my fault that it took them over an hour to fill a simple vitamin prescription. That's what they told me when I asked why I needed to wait another 30 minutes. I have very little confidence in this location and whenever I have something filled I make sure to double check prescription filled at this location due to a lack of confidence. Because of this I Do Not take serious prescriptions to this location.

I’ve only had positive experiences here. It’s clear the staff are kept busy by all the people, but they have always been polite and answered all my questions.

Absolutely the worst Pharmacy I have ever used. I switched from Walgreens and Rite aid because I could never get the Pharmacy on the phone. Well Costco Pharmacy always answers but they never have any of my prescriptions in stock. They always have to order. At least Walgreens and Rite aid always had my meds in stock. The Costco pharmacy employees could be a little friendlier as well. Bye Costco

Staff is rude, condescending and sarcastic. I called them at 10:20 just to ask if they received an RX for my husband since I didn't see it on his account yet. The woman that answered the phone was rude and said "I don't know your husband" well first of all maybe she should be the one to start asking questions and I will answer. When I asked if it was ready she said "Well we were closed yesterday so it's not ready yet" Okay? but you guys opened at 7am so how was I supposed to know if the rx is ready yet or not. Costco is a great store but their pharmacy staff could do better

I go to Costco mainly because of lower gas prices and they carry huge humongous variety of stuff! Am surprised by large bags of shrimp chips and lotus cakes and you get it - Some items only Asians would eat but the world is willing to try! I also got my eye glasses frame and lenses, mind you they carry some great designer name brands as well. There's always something for everyone. I used to leave Costco an item from their concession because the quantities are huge and the prices are inexpensive.

This store is dirty, disorganized and understaffed. The service desk workers are insanely slow. Seriously, it's all the same stuff, go to BJ's or Sam's. Augh.

I had been wanting a Vitamix for some time but wanted to wait for a sale . Finally see it on sale and buy it but the model on the shelf wasn't ringing up on sale . There was no other prices listed on the shelf just the sale price . This store refused to honor the posted sale amount of $319 and made me buy it for $399 !! I just find that to be unfair since it was actually an older model and had been on sale before also .

Always a line but well worth it. Everyone is nice and respectful towards one another and honestly worth the membership just for gas. When was the last time you found gas for $3.00/gallon

I hate having to walk all the way thru the store just to pick up meds but they do provide better prices on prescriptions and have filled for me on short notice when I needed something

Extremely disappointed. I just got some appliances delivered and this is how the installation went. I bought 3 appliances which included installation. When they delivered the washer and dryer and proceeded with the installation, they stated that there were 2 drain holes and that I will need to hire a plumber because they were not sure where the water drainage hose will go. I appreciate that they didn't install it without knowing; however, if Costco is offering installation and the delivery people didn't know how to install it they should offer another alternative instead of suggesting the customer to spend more money on a service they should have completed. On another hand, The refrigerator was installed, but they left the packaging on. It is all glued. On top, they left everything inside and even put trash in the house trash can. Per customer service they should have taken the trash with them. This shows very low standards from Costco. I wouldn't recommend.
