Manager named Candice the sloppiest meanest bank manager I have ever seen in my almost 62 years. I had a car loan there (paid off) and gave them my business for several years, including bringing them a new client. They do not care. They just charged me $3 to cash a $50 check my ex-husband wrote on this bank!

There's a reason why there's only 27 reviews and yet, they have a 3.8 star rating. I would STRONGLY advise NOT using this place. There are several other credit unions that will provide you better and transparent customer assistance, a higher quality of service and better practical solutions. I'm so glad that I was intelligent enough not to open any accounts with Chartway.

Needed to refinance my car. Capital one had me to believe they would do it. Within 24 hours they turned me down .Chartway came to my mind and let me tell you. Amber Gibson did a quick and efficient in her duties.Within one hourr I was refinanced She explained everything to me clearly.Hope you all give out Christmas cause bonus's she deserves it Have been with chartway s ok nice 2002Moved to Colorado they didn't have one . Was so glad to come back to Chartway.O tell ally friends.I just know you're in the 500 Fortune magazine.Thanks for all chartway does.Robin Kovacs

I have been a member if chartway since 1982, and have always had good results with them. Everything that I have borrowed I have paid back and most of the time I pay the balance off before the initial time. I was shocked when I was turned down for a small loan, but I was given a reason that I didn't qualify for the small loan. However, Chartway was gracious enough to do a collateral loan that worked out. I was helped a lot by Ms. Makieta Duck. Ms. Duck was very helpful with process of this loan. She stayed with me on each step of the loan so I would know what is going on and I really appreciate that. She is going to be a great asset to this organization. Thank you Chartway!

I went there on 2 separate occasions to stop automatic deductions. Both times the staff member did a stop payment!!! I was too stunned to react. I have another problem w/ a re-routing of my 2020 Federal Tax refund to an unknown account. 2 strikes & I'm out, 2 different staff members w/ the same error- training problem? meantime my money keeps going to vendors that are not providing services to me since I moved. I was going to call their headquarters or go there for help & I thought long & hard, why should I? After almost 20 yrs. w/ Chartway, I'm going to close my account which will solve the automatic debit problem but inconvenience others, it is really a no win situation but on a fixed income what can I do? Find staff who know what they are doing? At my branch, almost all are new but that's not my problem . By Chartway!

If I could give less than 1 star I would do it. Worst bank I have ever been to. No professionalism … and no knowledge of basic banking question.And I see I’m not the only one being double charged for my car payment regularly….. how they are in business is beyond me. So glad I got my car loan refinanced through someone else!!
