Building Blocks Preschool is an amazing preschool and my son loves it. Mrs. Lisa, Mrs. Ramona , and Ms. Tiff have shown me and my son nothing but respect and kindness. My son has Autism level 2 non verbal and her staff has been nothing but loving and supportive when it comes to my son. They have taken their time to get to know and understand his wants and needs, an if there was something they didn’t understand about my child I love the fact that they always reached out to me and his farther to get a better understanding how to help him or redirect him when needed. He has learned sooo much being apart of Building Blocks preschool and I love every moment of his learning experience there. The love they show my son when he walks through those doors warms my heart to the fullest I couldn’t picture him at no other Childcare but Building Blocks Preschool. This School is truly amazing, loving, and heart warming , knowing that I can go to work and he’s in great hands. Keep up the great work Building Blocks ? y’all are doing a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anybody!

Ms. Lisa and all Building Blocks staff have only shown professionalism and knowledge of their school. My granddaughter has been attending almost a full year and I love how they keep me informed of what’s going on and my granddaughters progress. They have excellent knowledgeable staff who take care of these children as if they are there own. When you walk into the school you are always greeted with friendly faces and they know you by name as well as your child. I love the structure they have set up for your child to learn and not only play. My granddaughter loves that school and loves going everyday to learn. She is in Pre-K and I love the small class setting to ensure she is getting the best education. Building Blocks is a place I recommend to anyone seeking daycare of preschool.

This is not a preschool. It is a babysitting gig at best. This "school" lacks structure, staff, professionalism, training, and care. The staff called me so many times to pick up my child that this place can't be considered reliable for people with employment. I took him to the doctors on several occasions after they told me to pick him up, just for the doctor to say he is fine. They have gone an entire day without changing my sons diapers. My son needs thickened feeds and I have caught them several times not following doctors orders from a doctors note that I provided. I was told staffing was short and the staff weren't communicating his needs to each other during shift change. They have told me they are not trained on kids with developmental delays and my son was a "challenge" because he is not walking yet at 18 months. He has Cerebal Palsy that only affects his walking. I disclosed this at registration but instead of out right discriminating they took him in and gave him non-quality care and complained about not being able to properly care for him. I have a peace of mind now that he is out of their care. Please do better.

I will start by saying that my child has been at this daycare since 09/2022. Before this daycare I was really struggling to find a daycare that the owner love the children but the teachers and the staff do as well. Many times people are sold on a tour and how nice the owner is but when the child is enrolled it is a different story. This daycare has been consistent, reliable, trustworthy and above all that my child loves coming to school. My son is only three so that should speak volumes. They have a system where you check in and out your children and you also get updates through the day, whether video or photos. I walk in the building it is never dirty or smelly. The bathrooms the children use never smell like urine or unclean. Most of the staff/teachers that I have encountered love and excited about what they do. My child does not like to be around people but they have taken the time to get to know my child and provide great care and security. The learning environment is amazing singing, dancing, writing, painting, hands on, they have something for every type of learner. Never had an issue with the transition from pull ups to potty training. The environment is also a controlled environment people have to get buzzed in. My child will be here a while. My child also has medicine and they have made sure it has not expired and not confused it with another child. I thank them for the security of knowing I can go to work and my child is safe.

This is the first daycare we’ve ever put our toddler son in, and it’s been a very easy transition for all of us! Within just a couple weeks, almost every teacher greets my son by his name and they know exactly who I am when I walk in, this makes me feel like my son isn’t just another kid at the daycare, but they truly care about each kid individually. His teachers are so kind and do so many fun, new activities with him everyday. They update the app with detailed notes of what he’s eaten, drank, etc. Pleasantly surprised by our experience and can’t say enough good things about Building Blocks!

I took a tour with my husband and the place was disgusting. When I walked into the baby room they had a baby still in its car seat in a pin sleeping like that. At least pretend to care when you have people touring.

i went here when i was young, around 10 years ago, and we had a lot of fun, we went to the beach, they sometimes had an ice cream truck come by, and we sometimes went to a pizza place and made pizzas and ate them, all and all fun, they had a candy bar and gave us really good breakfast (cereal), and for the summer program, we made fireworks on the forth of July (glue with glitter on paper), they had a really nice teacher named mrs.sandy, but im sure she is long gone, she wouldnt force me down to nap like the others would, i wouldnt suggest it if your child cant fall asleep easily, and they had a vending machine the kids could use, to get soda, i just now realize how bad that was for us, and i ate my tooth like a popcorn kernal one time during movie night, they used to have a candy cruch online game to play with your friend, and there was a reading corner, i do suggest it, but i dont know if it changed.

Their director, Lisa, punished my child by expulsion to do a conflict between her and I, and her only idea to fix the problem, was to disenroll my child without mentioning it me, his stepmother, only by calling his biological mother and informing her he’s been disenrolled.Other inappropriate incidents include Lisa stating to me "you look just like the child's biological mom, dad must have a type" , which is completely nonprofessional, and not a child care director's place to say. So the outcome to my 4 year old's experience, was a expulsion not even after 2 weeks of service. The school also called and notified me of my 4 year old getting sick before this, and needed to be picked up asap. Upon my arrival, I found my 4 year old alone in his classroom, lights off, no supervision whatsoever, no toys, just sitting there in solitude, without any other supervisors in sight in the hallway or elsewhere. He was sitting in a cot, staring at the doorway I just walked into, wondering how long he was going to be in the dark alone, on a cheap cot on the floor, that they charge a ridiculous rate for to "rent". I picked him up, left the room, left the premises. His classroom teacher that should've been in there with him, just proved that due to their lack of supervision and negligence, that absolutely anybody can walk in the door, down the hallways of other classrooms, grab your child, and leave the center, without ever being seen or stopped. What a warm and fuzzy feeling.

I have 3 kids at Building Blocks and Ryan Academy. They treat you like family amd really care. They take the time to get to know each child and their family and make my kids are always safe. Lisa and Ramona are nothing but professional and take the time to understand your child's individual needs. My 11 month old loves his teachers and lights up when he sees them. My older two still go to Building Blocks for before and after school and during school breaks and they love all their teachers. I recommend the school to all of our friends moving to the area. The school is secure and the staff is friendly. Teachers are professional while still making you feel like family. Overall an amazing school.

I have had two children enrolled in building blocks for the past five years. The staff is amazing, any little issue I has been taken care of swiftly. Their care and knowledge of my children is incredible. Every morning the staff and teachers though out the school greet my child by name. I am truly happy to have found a child care center that has fulfilled all my needs.

I can’t say enough great things about the staff here. My daughter has been enrolled here since she was 18 months old. She is now almost 7 years old. She loves going to BBPS before and after school to play and learn with her school age friends. Lisa, Ramona, Micheala, Nicole, Dorian, Rusty, and Kella ( just to name a few) are always there to greet you with a smile and help you in any way they can to maximize your child’s enjoyment at their facility. My daughter loves their summer camp program and will be attending this summer again. Would recommend this facility to anyone and also have many friends who’s children are already enrolled their. If you are looking for a warm, loving, and educational environment for your children, this is the place to go!!!!

Super unprofessional, director and faculty have no boundaries when it comes to inappropriate comments and their only way of handling situations is to disenroll your child, to effectively "get rid" of the problem, instead of dealing with the situation they created. Also very poor building security, can essentially walk in and grab any child you see without ever being noticed. Faculty walks around barefoot, with belly shirts showing mid drifts, and left my child unsupervised in a room alone at one point. Horrible center, do not waste your time.
