Nobody called me back when I left an urgent phone message requesting assistance booking this location for a special occasion activity. I understand that it was my responsibility to pre-register however the lack of care and customer service was disappointing. The occasion date has passed so registering is no longer needed but acknowledging my request with a return call, even a text, would have been courteous.

What an awesome space to learn how to create something out of wood. It is a very basic level and all materials are provided for you. The owner was actually the one teaching us and he was great. Very patient and informative. You could definitely tell he knew what he was doing. Drinks are also available. I went for a date night and it was a great experience. Would highly recommend and I'm definitely coming back again!

Had my birthday with my nieces. Really enjoyed it. The owner did a great job. Friendly atmosphere and step by step instructions. Love the welcome board I made for my front porch.

Board & Brush Norfolk, VA!!!THIS PLACE IS CROOKED. MY WIFE SCHEDULED A PRIVATE PARTY THERE FOR HER SISTERS BRIDAL SHOWER AND PUT DOWN THE $150 DEPOSIT. AFTER THE PARTY, MIKE CHARGED HER $380 (QUOTE WAS $365) AND SAID MY DEPOSIT WOULD COME BACK TO US SHE HAS LEFT 3 MESSAGES, SENT EMAILS, AND TEXT WITH NO REPLY. HE WAS VERY QUICK TO CALL BACK WHEN SHE WAS SCHEDULING THE EVENT. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THESE PEOPLE, VERY SHADY

My husband and I signed up for a class this weekend. We were worried that it would be canceled because it was just the 2 of us signed up, but the owner Mike was nice enough to still hold the class for us! We really enjoyed talking, laughing, and making our art pieces with him! We will most definitely be back!

Last name was not printed in cursive and was not all lower case like the picture showed. The last name was also not straight, it was crooked causes me to have to cut each letter individually to make straight myself. Due to the not being all lower case, it caused my future last name to be incorrect since it has two capital letters in it. The employee could care less and said the owner has the machine and there was nothing she could do. Never got my money back for the clock part that they did not have and I specifically told the worker I wanted my money back for since I was unsatisfied with the whole order at the end of the night. That was the beginning of July, figured I’d get a phone call or email but no. I would expect a phone call from my employee at the end of the night about a mistake and make it right. Been to other locations and was a better experience than this one.

Went investigating this for possible couple's night activity. This Norfolk store is closed, noting it has been sold to new owners. The website listing by zip code doesn't link to the local studio however, you can pick the Norfolk location from the full list of US locations sorted by state. The calendar of events states the new owners anticipate opening in November. But, there are no anticipatory events "penciled in" on the calendar. Will give a fairer review when/if they reopen.

Love love loveeeeeeee this place came here with the husband for a date night and we made the cutest boards for the house. $65 for each board, these would cost almost $200 to order from anywhere else
