Went to bj.s for tires on 6/26/24 for had to make a appointment they set up my appointment for two o'clock p.m 2/27/24 and one hour before install they called me said they couldn't get the tires and come to the store for a full refund and when I get to the store it took them a hour and half to refund my money back the worst experience I ever had the worst customer service ever trying to get my money back never again for tires at bj.s

This is a brief review because I am a frequent visitor because this location and the people who work here are so amazing that my purchases alone support the cause - smiling!The customer service is great. The store is also clean, well-stocked, and well-lighted, so you can see everywhere without reading glasses.The employees walk the aisles and offer help if you need it. If you don't, they keep restocking or cleaning, and they are friendly.The savings on gas prices are enough to get back our money we pay annually. The people who come here to get gas are so darn courteous even during the gas shortages.One time, a gentleman saved me after wasps flew out of my gas cap area and stung me when I opened it to pump gas.Anyway, great store, great gas prices, wonderful neighbors. Come out and see their smiles and catch a sale on brand-name shoes and clothes.

I bought a television from bjs a few years ago. And it stopped working. I asked at the membership counter if they would help me to find the receipt to see if still under warranty. The lady refused to help me. They track everything you buy and have a record connected to your membership. We got into a heated argument. I walk out that day without satisfaction from my encounter. This was Norfolk Va. Store. I then went to the Virginia Beach store and did some shopping, and when I was checking out, I found that she canceled my membership behind my back. Without a refund. So, the membership counter opened up a new card for me, and I paid her for a new membership. So I had an appointment for a rotation with the tire department because I bought my tires there. I sat in the waiting room for about an hour. Then, the attendant refused to rotate tires because of a nail in the tread of one. Said tire would have to be replaced. I fixed it with a plug in 5 minutes. Today, a week later, I tried to load coupons on to my membership card online and find that my new membership is not working. I have no membership. beware of joining such a club. By the way, when she canceled my original membership, it erased all orders from my record. So tires, tvs no more record.

Open at crazy times. Showed up one day when they were open and had to Schedule an appointment for a rotate and balance an entire week later. After a few days for the appointment showed up on time and then was told that they couldn't because I have aftermarket wheels. The lack of communication to customers and general information like hours of operation is remarkable. I wouldn't even go there for tires if I needed to.

Used to be amazing but they’ve gone severely downhill since Covid. Bought tires online (same exact ones they’ve been putting on my car for years) and now they can’t install them because they are the “wrong type”. Literally just clicked reorder on my BJs account. The kicker is they had me schedule an install time and NEVER CALLED ME TO SAY THEY COULDN’T INSTALL THEM!!! So just wasted the morning and now have to try and figure out how to get my money back cause they ALSO DON’T DO REFUNDS AT THE TIRE CENTER!!!!! A mess.

Sign says they open at 9. It's 920 and the door is locked. I hate going to work as much as anyone else but cmon man, you didn't even have to wake up early.

Found out the stupidest thing today at BJ's. Wanted to grab a gift card here for my grandparents cause this is the #1 store that they always go too. Thing was I couldn't even buy a gift card for someone else cause I didn't have a membership. Hope everyone finds this stupid/ funny. I know people pay for a membership to buy items in bulk and at a discounted rate, but a gift card??

I love this BJ’s they are awesome for curbside pick up. They say it will be two hours and I usually have a confirmation within one hour. Their deli selection is the best and are always my go to for party platters.

I have been trying to get refunded for my membership since 4/30/2021. Everything I call the company all I get are excuses. If I could give a zero for stars I would do that. This is ridiculous!

I've now visited the Norfolk store a few times in the past six months and ready to bump them up to a weak on par, My first experience was trying to get a cart unglued from another one as other customers struggled. They leave them out in the elements with no shelter is my guess. VB store has a canopy to keep weather off them. Friendly staff greeted me with a wipe to clean the cart handle. The store is organized differently than my regular in Virginia Beach, so be prepared. Overall cleanliness good. Organization was as expected if your a BJ's customer, just a different layout. They need not have one item I came for and a manager I spoke with said she would look into it. So I did it up having to go to the other BJ's that week New self checkouts are nice and handicap accessible if in a wheel chair. Virginia Beach does not have them. Norfolk BJ's will not replace my regular, but it's an option. 2.5 rounding up.

3/13/21: I usually have our groceries delivered, but I was in the area and shopped myself. I rarely go on weekends because I can't stand large crowds. Luckily, it wasn't that bad. Upon entering, you're given a Lysol wipe to rub down your cart. After that, there are coupons there doe you to look over at the front of the store. I did my shopping really quick & made my way to the self-checkout line. My coupon didn't work, so luckily there was a supervisor there to help. Checkout was quick and I was in and out in 30 or so minutes. Their vending machine had 25 & 50 cent waters which was awesome because I was parched & dying of thirst. It was much better than having to pay $1.50+ like at other places. The store was neat/organized/clean & the floors were marked to encourage social distancing. Hand sanitizer was available too. I will forever shop at this store. I love Bjs.

I had tires installed couple of months ago and it took 4 trips and two air pressure sensors to stop the warning from coming back on. Light recently came back on so I took it in and was told right rear sensor needs to be replaced. No problem I paid the $60 and didn't make it out of the building now your spare needs a sensor. Would just like to come in one time to get something fixed and not have to make multiple trips back
