Although not dirty, sometimes the quality is lacking. The location is convenient but turning into it is not always the easiest or leaving when busy. Never really had an issue but sometimes the clientele and the area can seem a little sketchy. When it gets busy it gets busy but not bad when slow.

I'm a BIG reviewer and a loyal 7-11 Rewards member, taking customer service seriously. The location is between 26th-27th Street and they are ALWAYS out of coffee, especially the Columbia coffee. The associates are always moody and never greet/acknowledge you upon entering or exiting. I told my husband today is our last day (11-3-23) at the location. Hopefully, they ALL will go back to the drawing board and receive training classes on customer service and time management.

The cashier was moody and rude. I told her, it is us customers that bring business and because of us..she has a job. Please be careful who you hire... as for me..i will never come back to your 7/11.. I do not need someone with attitude to serve me.

I feel like the manager was being a bit racist for asking to cashier lady to watch me in the candy isle. This is a black female making this review from my perspective. I was in the 711 this morning in the candy section and I just so happen to be standing there for over 2 minutes trying to figure out the prices of the candy. Almost half of the candy price tags weren't matching with the actual candy itself so i had to make sure i wasn't to grab something without knowing the actual price. I looked in the corner of my eye and she a lady watching me and only me over the counter so I walked up to the cash register with the things i was going to purchase feeling super uncomfortable. I I had seen the manager/owner standing with the girl before i had walked up. I simply asked the lady "where you just watching me?" And she just told me her mananger asked her to do so. I didn't want to say anything else because I did not want to cause a sceneand felt incredibly uncomfortable. I felt like the manager only asked the cashier to watch me because i was black because why else would she have to watch me when yall literally got cameras but okay. I know there's a lot of black people out there that steal but you dont have to associate me with that hurtful stereotype. White people steal out of stores too you know. And im pretty sure if i was a white woman the manager wouldn't have asked the girl to even watch me like a hawk in a stupid candy Isle with $2 snacks. Maybe me being a black female just made them think I was poor or something and couldn't afford a $2 snack i dont know but I will not be going into that 711 again.

This 7-eleven has yet to be renovated with the new looks all over town but it has most of the same elements of the newer ones I love. It's in a more rough part of town by ODU so I wouldn't frequent late at night, but it'll do the job if you are in the area and need a slushy or some gas. They don't have as much in the way of the fancy coffee machines but they did have a cold brew machine with normal or mocha flavors and several juice, soda, and slushy flavors. One was açaí berry so I was impressed with that.

I believe my previous review was deletedThis 711 is terrible. It closes early, the staff near the end of closing are so rude. The attitude of the gm of this place makes sense why mostly everyone else attitude sucks. I live really close and this used to be my spot but I just go to 38th now. 2 years ago I stopped by frequently now I'm not im urprised more people aren't ramming their cars in.

Workers act like heating a pizza or something up is hard. Some are rude. And i thought the store was 24 hours? Closed for no reason. They lazy
