I ordered a Cake from Walmart Bakery. I thought it would be an okay cake, they were the only place that wasn't booked for cake orders (graduation). They did a PHENOMENAL job on our cake for our Marriage Ministry at our Church. I cannot describe how impressed I was with the detail. They went above and beyond what I was expecting. The cake was also DELICIOUS!!!! Many Blessings to the person or persons who prepared our cake!

dont waist your time going here.....no one around to answer a question...leave and call forget that...operator will connect you and it will just ring and ring...no one gives a rat's behind about the customer...also tried calling the one in Yorktown...same thing...they act like they care but do not....finally went to Home Depot and purchased my items. I certainly can see why 1 star on 8 reviews on first page.

We were in and out. Went to go get Easter stuff. It was kinda scarce cause it was the day before, but they still had what I needed. Lines were moving fast. Customer service was good

Sam Walton the founder of Walmart would be rolling in his grave if he seen the abysmal state of his stores. ***THEY NEED A DISTRICT MANAGER TO REVIEW THIS STORE INCOMPENTENCE!!!*** Three 3x I placed curb side pick up orders. Online said items were in stock. Then it had taken over a week to REFUND my $ due to their incompetence. Why do you have 20 registers with ONLY 4 lines open and Self-Check out closed during rush hour??? People don't want to work all day and deal incompetence. No worries Target & Food Lion will now be getting my business! Nobody ever answers the phone. If they do, you get MORE incompetence. You can't get a manager on the phone. It's to difficult for them to make an overhead announcement to accommodate their hard working customers and check them out quickly and efficiently. Stock is horrendous and always was even before the pandemic. 4 Manager walking the floor and nobody will hop onto the registers and be a team player and help out!!! Why? Poor customer service!!!!

Very disappointed at girl working associate door at front! Time 2pm 2/13/2021 I helped elderly lady to cross to get out of the cold & rain (34 degrees), Walmart employee refused to let her in the door and made her go to other door. This unacceptable for Walmart to treat elderly in this manner!

I went in for some household items and to grocery shop for my elderly mother. I was appalled at the number of patrons unmasked and even more by the number of employees unmasked. The culture seems to be one of flagrant disregard for public health and safety. Stockers blocked aisles preventing a 6 ft social distancing in order to pass. I will choose another Walmart or better yet, another store, in the future.

I have had so many issues in this location with staff (one front end manager was extremely belligerent), pricing, out of stocks, etc. that I now drive out of my way to another Walmart in Yorktown. I have approached management with these concerns only to be told there's "nothing they can do". When I requested the number for corporate, the gentleman at corporate "sympathized" with me and no changes have occurred. I worked in Customer Service as a manager for almost 20 years. I understand the stresses they have, have given multiple opportunities and decided that after multiple attempts to allow things to improve, that a customer is not a priority for them. I will take my money elsewhere.

Worst walmart I have ever been to. This review is toward the walmart pickup grocery service. I placed my order on a Wednesday for pickup on friday. When I first placed my order they out a hold on my card for 249 dollars, then half my order was not available so I had to make changes, then because I changed my order they applied another hold for 90 dollars. 339 dollars on hold for a 120 dollar order??? Do I need to say more; o but it gets worse, friday comes and two hours before my pickup they email me and say my order has been canceled due to them being booked/busy.... unacceptable, and now I will refuse to shop at another walmart. In this week I have gone to Walmart twice. The same employer checks our whole cart just for inexpensive things. Today me and my mother went to Walmart and bought groceries and some toy. The employer always checks the whole groceries and let others people that buy really expensive stuff pass and she doesn't care. Three times the person checks us the whole cart and lets other people pass inclusive all the things are on the Walmart bags. It's the lady that are checking before you go outside. I am mad because this happens three time and we are hispanic and other people of different countries was passing with the cart more full than ours. She isn't for them, only ours.

I was trying to purchase a Gear Fit2 from Walmart #1773 located in Newport News VA. The item rang up for $30. Walmart employees and manager said that wasn5right and would not sell the item. They eventually said the item was discontinued and they cannot sell it because it was a display item. There was already one of these on display and I pointed that out, to which the manager said they have 2 display items, even though the display board only had 1 slot for this item on the display board. I asked them to honor the price or give me an IOU for the same item at the same price. After politely pushing the issue, I was ultimately denied. Note to Walmart: just do the right thing!!!

Very poor service! I have been trying to ask someone a question about a phone and was unable to do so for three days of trying. Each time the phone just ring and no one picks up. This is in acceptable and they should just take all of the phones out of the store if they are not going to answer them. I have tried calling in the morning noon and night on several occasions and could not get through. I have also asked to speak to a manager and phone only rings. I was calling to confirm if what I saw in there website was definitely in the store before I ride over twenty miles and it was not in the store.

I have been to this location twice now and they're only two words to describe it, A ZOO! The parking lot is jammin and I was prepared to be run over by every shit box in the lot. The inside is huge and mobbed. I expected it to be a lot dirtier than it actually is, which was surprising. They had everything I needed, including wine and beer. But it took what felt me twenty years to get everything because the store is so huge and spread out. Checkout also sucks because there is not enough people working to check out the long lines! It's Black Friday shopping on the daily at the checkout lines. When you walk out the door be prepared to have you receipt checked. If you like Burger King there is one in there. Uncle Fester makes the burgers and it was the worst BK to ever be consumed.

If I can rate it a zero I would. Their customer service is awful, their is never anybody at the jewelry section. I went to get my jewelry out of layaway and there was nobody schedule to work that day. I been calling for three days to handle my account and there is never anyone who can assist me, everybody is clueless. When I called customer service a lady answered and the first thing I hear is hear laughing and having a conversation. Then I asked to speak to the manager in the jewelry department and she immediately said they where not there and hung up on me before I could ask to speak to someone else. Walmart needs to have their workers attend a customer service class.

This Wal-Mart is located across from the Sam's Club, and has a Burger King located inside the store. It's nice that they sell a wide variety of things from clothes to crafts to food to toiletries. Therefore, you can do a wide variety of shopping at one place! Unfortunately, the quality of the clothes isn't great...but I guess that's to be expected when you buy clothes for $5-$9. The customer service needs MAJOR help. It's a rare circumstance when I run into a friendy, nice staff member. Most staff don't understand the concept of smiling and are really rude. I have limited my trips to Wal-Mart and have been going to my neighborhood convenience store instead. I hope a proper training course takes place because no place should treat their customers with this much disrespect. Also, many of the products are dusty or sticky. The 2 liter sodas are sticky, and the canned food, condiments, snack aisles are dusty. It's not a good feeling to reach for something to put in your cart and your hands/fingers end up with gunk or dust all over them.
