My wife sent a small box of Christmas presents to my daughter in Mississippi.
The shipping cost 15.00.
It was lost for weeks with tracking putting it someplace in NorthCarolina.
After several weeks and several trips to the post office they found the box and said it would be shipped to my daughter’s address.
It was shipped right back to my wife with a statement that we would have to pay to ship it again.
In short, use FEDEX.

Not getting my mail at all! Automated phone service does not let me talk to anyone. I’ve filled two claims with no response. I had a hold mail for vacation but when it ended my mail service never resumed.

I had a complex business here today, the counter staff Mrs. Muriel was very friendly, professional, prompt, she is the best staff I have ever met at USPS, glad she was there to help me! Thank you so much, Mrs. Muriel, you are wonderful!!!

Worst experience of my life. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on May 28th. The Post office misdeliverd my package to another address. They said they see that they made a mistake, but have not reimbursed my money for the package. They just don't care. I have been more then patient with them waited the amount of time they asked to see if they could retrieve my package. They want me to talk to the seller (which I have been) and have them reimburse my money for Post office mistake. They just are handing out people's packages to whoever they feel like and take no responsibility for their mistakes. I just had to purchase from the seller again. My advise is if you lose a package chalk it up as a loss, since they won't do anything to help you.

When there is a extensive line and there are more than one worker in the post office it really should be a PRIORITY to take care of the guest first. It would be efficient to train all the postal workers to be universal to assist. Although the line was extremely long the representative was very friendly and professional.
