NEW FACE ALERT!!!!So we finally have a new permanent young lady there, and let me say she is AMAZING! Not only is she extremely helpful but she is just the sweetest thing and has so much patience regardless of the challenges of long lines and rude people. Hopefully she likes it enough to stay (fingers crossed) BE NICE TO HER Y’ALL because is refreshing after having Mr Patrick rude self and the other lady.

I didn't catch the name of the amazing lady who was working the counter at closing time, but I wish I had. Not only was she doing her best to process everyone through who was trying to get packages mailed out at the end of the day, she was reaching out to make sure people with prepaid packages knew they could come around and drop them off. She spotted someone with a UPS box and let the customer know as the customer joined the end of the very long line. She even maintained a very professional attitude even when an exceedingly rude customer huffed in at a minute to closing with several people still waiting in line expecting the office to stay late after closing just for her. I don't know if you have any recognition rewards, but if you do, this employee very much deserves one.

All I ask is that when I drop off a package for a ebay sale, that it actually goes out that day. This location seems to only process packages every other day, which I have never seen before from USPS. I wouldn't care that much, but late packages could damage my ebay status and potentially hurt my income.

That black man with the glasses, whew child. ? I'm not going to say get rid of him but... ?*eye bulge*??maybe put him in the back where he won't have to be seen or heard because good Lordt! I'm glad I left my husband at home while i ran this errand. Idk if he would've been so nice to him as I. I thought maybe he was just having a bad day because he was SO rude. It was so uncalled for. I left and went elsewhere. I wish i read the reviews. I guess he's notorious for this behavior and UPS is desperate enough to keep him.

Male clerk with glasses (seems to be a pattern here lmao) had a wild case of the Mondays, and dramatically/rudely proclaimed a bunch of my packages were labeled incorrectly, even though they were perfectly appropriate USPS-generated labels that I’ve been using for years. He wasn’t able to adequately explain why he thought the USPS labels were incorrect (because they were fine) and started to get agitated, so I took the packages to the USPS person at my job - she processed them without issue.

Worst post office in Newport news. Employees show up 30min to an hour late and are absolutely rude and unhelpful. Might as well not even have a post office here.

The absolute worst... line wrapped around to the po boxes and this lady is doing the best she can and none of these other people in the back and come help... horrible

if I could give no stars I would. This is by far the worst facility I have been to. package stayed at the facility for 4 days even though I paid for priority. they have an attitude. their customer service is horrific. This man name travis is so rude to customers. he needs to be fired

When you go there in the evening when people are usually getting off of work, they only have one person working. The line is always out the door. Poorly managed and poorly run.

I have been going to this location for six years multiple times a week for my employer and every time I go to another location I regret doing so. A small and extremely busy location that may not be fully staffed but that isn't the staff's fault. My experiences are always good and I have come to appreciate the patience, knowledge and care these employees show their customers. Thanks Patrick, Barbara and all the other employees who step in to help out from other locations! I appreciate you all.

My 5 year old grandson had a letter to mail to Santa Claus. Postal worker Patrick was excellent. He engaged my grandson asking if he was ready to send his letter and if he was ready for Christmas. Patrick also told my grandson he would make sure his letter reached the North Pole. Great Job Patrick!!! Merry Christmas
