I will say that every time I go here I feel like I am meeting with old friends. The Ulta location at 12080 Jefferson Ave. Newport News, Va. They take such good care of me. Adrienne does my hair to perfection every time and Codey does my waxing to perfection as well. Today Robin matched me for foundation and I felt like a new person when I left. Thank you ladies for being you and always making me feel special.

My experience at ulta beauty ( 12080 Jefferson ave, Newport News,va) with adrienna w incredibly disappointing. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming and tense.
Adrienna seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged me as a customer. Her attitude throughout the appointment was rude and dismissive she didn't bother to listen to what I wanted and instead imposed their own ideas without any consideration for my preferences. She infact walked away while I was asking about hair colour
Moreover, their lack of professionalism was evident. They spoke curtly, making me feel like I was inconveniencing them by being there.
Overall, I left the salon feeling humiliated and frustrated. I wouldn't recommend (ULTA beauty
12080 Jefferson ave, Newport News,va ) to anyone looking for a pleasant salon experience.
Customer service and respect should be fundamental in this industry, and unfortunately, they were sorely lacking here.
I tried talking to manager as well but they didn't hear me out instead supported her ill manner employe, she left me crying and I'm so traumatised after this won't be able to have confidence before walking in any salon fear of judgement will always haunt me

I had the most amazing service from Cookie today!!! The MAC tutorial was excellent...I love how the make up looks and feels! She was very knowledgeable and made time to answer my questions with an added demo. She did so well, one of her regular customers looking for fragrances joined us. Thanks Cookie, your are awesome!!!?

I went into ulta with a crazy list of things I thought I wanted but I’m not that educated on makeup and skincare as much as I’d like. April is an amazing asset to your brand and store. She helped me find what I wanted and then directed me to things that were good for my complexion and skin tone. She was a savior. She was professional, knowledgeable, and made me not feel silly. I appreciate someone like her in customer service so much! She took the time to educate me and even though I spent more than I had planned I left satisfied and excited about my purchases and new found knowledge. She was amazing. There was also another lady there helping and I hate to forget her name but it started with a “C” and she found things so quickly and she was amazingly helpful as well. You are lucky to have these ladies on your team.

I have gone to the store previously and there is always a line upon check out and limited sales help. Well, I was given a gift certificate, so I decided to try again.
Normally, I try and just wear MAC. However, the lady at the MAC counter wasn’t very helpful. So, I walked around the store. I overheard a very nice young lady talking with another shopper. She was very friendly and provided a lot of information. As I waited, I realized the number of shoppers versus the number of people working. And as soon as they were done with one person there was another person that came to them needing help. I am sure this can be very frustrating even to the most helpful workers.
It was finally my turn. Corrana was very helpful. She helped me with a Fenty concealer and powder. I definitely spent more than what I went looking for but with her explaining the products and how using them together was more beneficial, then trying to mix product lines.
2.5 weeks later, I had to go back to the store. To me it seemed like the product that I had purchased was depleting quicker than what I expected. I was so happy that Corrana was there again today. I explained to her what was going on and asked how long the product should last. I told her I thought my product might have been a return. Let’s just say she knows her products. She asked me a few questions about when I opened the product and when I answered she was able to ascertain that my product might have been altered. She provided me with another item and instructed me to go to check out/exchange. It was so easy so I also added a Fenty lip gloss. LOL
I will definitely go back!!

This store is beyond awful with having enough people on the register. I saw a manager and another person come to the front the walk off with the line almost to the back of the store. There were only to people ringing customers up. This isn’t the first time a manager has not helped to ring up customers when the line is long. Avoid this store if possible!!
