Love Total Fitness! It is a smaller gym in size than your mega gyms but this one has heart. The more seasoned lifters seem to be available to share their knowledge as well as help you on your form. It just seems as if you’re a part of the family.
We are the oldest gym in the tidewater area, and have been home to NFL and NBA players, Olympic lifting champs, pro-wrestlers, powerlifters, bodybuilders, and even a world champion arm wrestler. We have helped our members lose hundreds of pounds, get in shape for military service and schools. Prepared others for collegiate sports including wrestling, track and field, football, basketball, tennis and more! We may not be the prettiest gym around, and we may not have the fancy pants equipment, but we do have over 50 years of experience and tradition, and most of all, we know how to get the job done!
