This place tows cars unlawfully and unethically. DO NOT work with them. John will get aggressive, disrespect you, your family, and charges whatever he wants without proof of whatever the reason they towed your car. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM AT ANY COST. THEY HAVE TOWED MY CAR TWICE FROM MY NEIGHBORHOOD STATING THAT THEY HAVE PHOTOS BUT COULDNT PROVIDE ANY THEN CALLED THE POLICE. JOHN AND HIS FRIENDS ARE HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND THE MISFORTUNE THEY PUT ON OTHERS WILL COME BACK TO HIM. multiple times he stated that he had proof then later admitting to my witness that he had no proof nor photos of my vehicle not having a pass. He called the police on me and stated I would be arrested for trespassing after he knew why I was there to pick up my vehicle. THEY ARE RACIST!!!!! He also demanded that I give them $140.00 which included an extra $20.00 for fuel. He and the other employee who refused to give his name were completely rude when trying to pay this disgusting towing company. John was making up rules and procedures as he went and no where were the rules he tried to enforce. I believe I am and my vehicle is a target for them to get money from me. This is the second time they have claimed that I had no pass in the vehicle and the first time I proved I did just like today when his employee walked me to my car. John was hostile and beyond aggressive. I was triggered and the officer told me and my party that this company has been reported for serval illegal towings.

This company has unlawfully and unethically towed my vehicle twice. After each time of having a visitor pass. After John an employee yelled at me multiple times stating he had proof then later admitting to my witness that he had no proof nor photos of my vehicle not having a pass. He called the police on me and stated I would be arrested for trust passing after he knew why I was there to pick up my vehicle. He also demanded that I give them $140.00 which included an extra $20.00 for fuel. He and the other employee who refused to give his name were completely rude when trying to pay this disgusting towing company. My vehicle was towed from a shopping center, granted it was towing enforced. However, it wasn't even entirely empty the following morning. All they did was inconvenience me and my family for funds for their “business”. Shame on them. Even if i needed a tow and they were the only tow company available, i’d still rather push my car.

Truck wouldn’t start early in the morning. Towing came and got us, told them the issue and that we were taking it to another vendor. He informed us they could fix it. Not only did they fix it by midday, they were also half the price of the other vendor. Very friendly, and the electronic communication is fabulous.

On March 17, 2023, an employee of Thornton Towing and Auto Repair LLC towed my vehicle from my backyard at Seven Oaks Apartment, in violation of the complex's requirement that a warning sticker be issued 48 hours prior to any towing. When the vehicle was towed, I had unintentionally left $2,500 in my glovebox. Prior to exiting the car, I had rolled up all of the windows. After exiting the car, I ensured that all of the doors were locked. When I went to retrieve my car, the driver's door was unlocked, my glovebox was unlocked, and my money was missing. When I asked the guy who towed my car where is my money, he acted as though he did not know what I was talking about. I presently have them in court. They are thieves!! If I could give them negative stars I would!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE FOR ANYTHING!! I was told to arrive at 730 and someone would assist me so I arrived early at 720 and No one ever showed up. At 740 a manager named John showed up and sat in his car and made me wait outside in the cold at 34 degrees until 8am even after I spoke with him face to face as he sat in his car. This is the absolute WORST place to do ANY business with!!! I REPEAT DO NOT USE THEM!!! They will waste your time and money!

They tow cars between 2am and 4am . They shut off their lights so your camera doesn't catch them. My camera caught them ,they towed serval others also. Beware. Also we had to wait an hour for them to be open. They don't open until 8 a

Thorntons towed my classic car with visible resident sticker ILEGALLY and refuse to bring it back. I just moved a month ago into the Sonoma Woods Residences, a condo community that uses these company's services to tow illegally parked vehicles. They claim their driver didn't see the sticker because of a tarp. The tarp was securely attached exposing the sticker. But never mind that. Even if the tarp was over the whole vehicle, which it wasn't, weren't they supposed to check for the sticker on the windshield prior to removal? These people are illegally towing vehicles to make money. I contacted my attorney. Everyone beware of Throntons illegal acts. The place is shady, the people are shady, the guy on the phone refused to give me his name. Again, unlawful practices are going on there. Community beware!!!

Towed my car saying registration and inspection were expired , car is registered till March 2023 , another place puts a sticker on windshield saying move by certain date, yes need to get inspection done this week , car is registered no reason to tow it, then got there was ignored by the tubby one who looks like he got fired from Santa's workshop, looked over my car already had a couple dings in it, but now have brand new inch by half inch paint chip , 2 long black scuffs and 4 scratches through the paint, obviously they are not safe nor do they take care of your items and do anything to get money, my car is registered till 2023 they told me it was expired, then once they were proven wrong it became the excuse of inspection, how do I know that at 130 in the morning they didn't scrape the plate sticker off so they could make a quick $120, it's registered I have the registration but all of a sudden stickers are gone they towed it because the registration was "expired" and they scratched the hell out of it, cheap assholes stealing money, 0 f****** stars, if you are in anyplace that uses the to tow make sure it is in view of a ring doorbell or you have your dashcam plugged in and working properly ,

Thornton's illegally towed my car from Manor Gate Apartments. I have visited my 81 year old Navy Veteran friend 17 times and never had a problem over the years. When I went to Thornton's to claim my car, I spoke to the counter rep and told him that my car should not have been towed. I spoke truthfully and honestly. He told me he wouldn't release my car to me because of my attitude. I told him that I would call the police and exited the building. I asked my 81 year old friend to speak to him and try to get the car for me. My friend told me the guy refused to release my car. I went back inside and asked the guy why he wouldn't release my car to me. He, finally, told me to stand outside and he would release the car to me. I stood at the gate for awhile and waited for him to get off his couch to release the car. This guy forced me to bow down to him to get my car out. He is a very poor person to deal with customers. He has really low functioning capability and should not be dealing with the public. He has no sense of how to speak to others.
