“Loads of collectible items to add interest to our homes, yards, and more. We browsed through furniture, books, vases, paintings, bowls, and decorative items galore.”
“Love all the stores and different restaurants. The area is always neat. Stores are not so far apart that it feels like your walking a mile to get to the store. Great mixture of stores. They have stores like Ulta, Old Navy, T.J. Maxx, Ross. Good place to go on a Saturday or when you just get paid. You'll find a store you like. It's better than Patrick Henry Mall.”
“Had an early dinner at BJs Brewhouse with the family. Pretzel appetizer was awesome, burgers were huge. Had a beer flight, but wasn't impressed with my choices. Server was attentive but seemed a little overwhelmed. Would go back again.”
“It seems a lot smaller than most Dollar Tree stores so you may miss out on some of the good stuff ?. However, it is situated in an area that has a lot of other different things, including the mall so it is in a good location to get in and get out.”

“I went to Food Lion yesterday, as I have done in the past. It was very crowded with only 1 register open. Line were formed down in the isles. It took a least 15 minutes to check out. They need more help!!!! Not stocked very well. I do believe that I will start shopping at a different store.”

“We enjoy coming to this mall. Mainly for Macy's and Bath and Body Works. The kiosks inside are always nice, and I love stopping by the kiosk of crystals and other cool stuff.”
“Five Stars belongs to the Staff at this location. Courteous, friendly, attentive and always informative about their store and it's inventory. A consistently busy local store located on an easy corner adjacent to two favorite Roads go to stores:a grocer, Piggly Wiggly and beauty supply shop. Also, a VA. ABC store open until 10 pm. Great choice for quick shopping and ease of location.”

“Loved City Center at Oyster Point! I visited this place just exploring and picked up a few things from some of the many stores in the area. The place is overall very well maintained in terms of landscaping, cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics. The buildings are all clean, the architecture, layout, and civil engineering for the entire area are superb. The City Center area stands out in Newport News as perhaps the most upper scale and overall safest, cleanest, and best managed commercial area in Newport News. There is overall very little crime in such area, in part due to diligent efforts of business owners and employees, residents, and local police. There are numerous businesses, restaurants, botiques, supermarkets, and shops here selling a huge variety of things and providing sundry services, plus apartments and hotels. From law firms, to engineering and tech firms, to bistros, cafes, ice cream shops, hotels, clothing stores, indoor and outdoor eating/dining, manicure/pedicure shops, exercise gyms and spas, barbers and hair salons, and pretty much anything you need or want, it's all at City Center and in a nice, clean, and safe area. The overall cultural tone and ambience is one of positivity, benevolence, and ebullience. I highly recommend everyone in the area or visiting the area stop by and check out the various businesses here and the awesome ambient atmosphere just to see what a commercially thriving well maintained area is like and to enjoy and take advantage of the goods and services of businesses at City Center. Get an ice cream cone from one of the ice cream shops and stroll around checking things out. You'll be glad you did and will enjoy the experience.”
