I'm really torn about how to rate this place. I was extremely impressed with their ability to have success getting my new medication filled; I honestly expected that it would be denied at least two times by the insurance, which normally happens whenever my doctor prescribes me a new RX for a complex condition. But, kudos to Pavilion Pharmacy staff - they not only got it filled, they got it filled FAST - like within 48 hours. And called me to let me know it was ready. But, once I arrived to pick it up, it was like a trainwreck. There was one customer in front of me, 7 staff members I could see, and it took 25 minutes for someone to acknowledge me while I was waiting for the four people standing around the register to figure out whatever the issue was and ring the customer in front up. Even after a staff member finally acknowledged my presence in line, it was still several minutes before I was called up to be helped. After that, the process went more smoothly, even having the pharmacist come out to give me a rundown on what to expect with the new prescription. By now, there were 4 people waiting behind me and still only one person checking people out. Two of them got referred to Walmart or CVS or Walgreens for something as simple as Vaseline and a cold medicine. Everyone I spoke with seemed competent and friendly...there was just this weird, unacknowledged 30 minute wait that seemed to be for no reason. So...try the pharmacy, especially if there are some complicating factors to your RX, Pavilion is worth a try to get that initial insurance approval of the new medication. But, if you're expecting to run in quick and pick up your order, or grab everything you need to avoid making another stop, you may want to use a bigger, stand-alone pharmacy.
